Çağdaş Türk Resminde Kahvehane Teması

“Çağdaş Türk Resminde Kahvehane Teması” isimli araştırma ile Türk toplumunda önemli bir yer edinen kahvehane kültürünün yüzyıllar geçmesine rağmen, günümüzdeki sosyal mekânlarda etkilerinin hala devam ettiği ve bu kültüre ait unsurların, sanat eserlerinde kullanılarak günümüze kadar ulaştığı görülmüştür. Küreselleşen günümüz dünyasında millet olarak var olabilmenin en önemli gereklerinden biri kültürel değerlere sahip çıkmaktır. Bu nedenle Türk kültüründe sohbet geleneğinin özünü oluşturan kahvehaneler ile ilgili motiflerin, görsel bir belge niteliğinde olan Türk resmindeki yansımalarının tespit edilerek bir kaynakta toplanması amaçlanmıştır. Böylece, bu kaynağa ulaşacağı düşünülen araştırmacılar ve sanat eğitimcileri aracılığıyla Türk toplumuna kültür aktarımının sağlanması açısından önemli olduğu düşünülmüştür.Yapılan araştırmada, 1950-2022 yılları arasındaki dönemde çağdaş Türk resim sanatı çerçevesinde eser üreten sanatçılar arasından seçilen; Atanur Doğan, Ayhan Türker, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, Mehmet Başbuğ, Mehmet Göktepe ve Nurullah Berk’e ait eser örnekleri incelenmiştir. İnceleme sonucunda kahvehanelere ait imgelerin biçim ve içerik yönünden sanatçıların eserlerinde kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir.

With the research titled "Coffeehouse Theme in Contemporary Turkish Painting", it has been seen that the coffeehouse culture, which has gained an important place in Turkish society, continues to be effective in today's social spaces, although centuries have passed, and the elements of this culture have survived to the present day by using them in works of art. In today's globalizing world, one of the most important requirements to exist as a nation is to protect cultural values. For this reason, it is aimed to determine the reflections of the motifs related to coffeehouses, which constitute the essence of the tradition of conversation in Turkish culture, in Turkish painting, which is a visual document, and collect them in a source. Thus, it is thought to be important in terms of ensuring the transfer of culture to the Turkish society through researchers and art educators who are thought to reach this resource.In the research, selected among the artists who produced works within the framework of contemporary Turkish painting art in the period between 1950-2022; Examples of works by Atanur Doğan, Ayhan Türker, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, Mehmet Başbuğ, Mehmet Göktepe and Nurullah Berk were examined. As a result of the examination, it has been determined that the images of coffee houses are used in the works of the artists in terms of form and content.
