| dc.description.abstract | Amaç: Tam seramik restorasyonların radyoopak olması, diş hekimine radyografik olarak bir çok değerlendirme kriteri sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, farklı yüzey bitirme tekniklerinin farklı materyal yapısına sahip tam seramik sistemlerin radyopasitese değerleri üzerine etkisini değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu çalışmada iki farklı materyal yapısına sahip toplam 40 adet tam seramik örnek hazırlanmıştır. Feldspatik ve lösit ile güçlendirilmiş tam seramik CAD/CAM bloklardan elde edilen örnekler, yüzey işlemlerinde manuel olarak bitirme ve polisaj kitlerinin kullanılmasına veya örneklerin glaze işlemi uygulanarak fırınlanmasına göre, 4 alt gruba ayrılmıştır. Hazırlanan örneklerin radyopasite değerleri densitometre cihazı kullanılarak ölçülmüştür ve elde edilen veriler istatistiksel olarak 2-yönlü ANOVA ve Tukey HSD çoklu karşılaştırma testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Densitometrik analiz sonuçlarına göre; glaze işlemi uygulanmış örnekler için, feldspatik tam seramik örnekler, lösit ile güçlendirilmiş tam seramik örneklerden istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde daha radyolusent bulunmuştur. Elde edilen diğer sonuçlara bakıldığında ise, farklı yüzey bitirme tekniklerinin tam seramik sistemlerin densitometrik karakteristikleri üzerine etkisinin anlamlı olmadığı görülmektedir. Sonuç: Bu çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre, tam seramik sistemlerin densitometrik değerleri yüzey bitirme işlemlerinden etkilense de, elde edilen farklılıklar istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildir. Bunun yanında, materyal yapısı ve fırınlama prosedürü, restorasyonun radyoopasite değerleri açısından önemli olabilir. Bu konu ile ilgili ileri araştırmaların yapılmasına ihtiyaç vardır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Background: Radiopacities of all-ceramic restorations provide radiologic evaluation criteria to the dentist. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of different surface finishing techniques on the radiopacity of all ceramic systems with different material structures. Methods: In this study, a total of 40 all ceramic samples with two different material structures were prepared. The samples obtained from leucite or feldspathic reinforced all ceramic CAD / CAM blocks were divided into 4 subgroups according to the using finishing and polishing kits or the glazing procedures for the surface treatments. The radiopacity values of the prepared samples were measured using a densitometer and the obtained data were analyzed statistically by 2-way ANOVA and Tukey HSD multiple comparison test. Results: For glazed samples, feldspathic all ceramic samples were statistically significantly more radiolucent than leucitereinforced all ceramic samples. From the other results obtained, it is seen that the effect of different surface finishing techniques on the densitometric characteristics of all ceramic systems is not significant. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, although the densitometric values of all ceramic systems are affected by surface finishing, the differences obtained are not statistically significant. In addition, the material structure and furnace procedure may be important in terms of radiopacity values of the restoration. There is a need for further research on this subject. | en_US |
