Özet
Yücel-Öner Davası 1945 sonrası siyasal değişiklikleri ve siyasal çatışmaları anlamada çok önemli bir yere sahiptir. Şu ana değin bu davayla ilgili daha çok iki husus incelenmiştir: Milli Eğitim Bakanı olarak Hasan Ali Yücel’in solcu bilim insanlarını ve öğretmenleri himaye ettiği iddiası ve bakanlığın dünya klasiklerinin çevrilmesiyle ilgili izlediği politikaya dair tartışmalar. Araştırmacılar bu konuları da siyasal çatışma bağlamında ele almışlardır; ancak bu çatışmaya ilişkin ihmal edilen ama önemli bir başka tartışma alanı daha vardır: Türk edebiyatı ders kitapları ve bu kitaplarda sosyalist-komünist propaganda iddiası. Bu makalede özellikle sol kanat Kemalistlerle milliyetçi-muhafazakârlar arasındaki siyasal çatışmayı yansıtan Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki sosyalist-komünist propaganda iddiası ele alınacak ve çok partili sisteme geçiş dönemindeki siyasal çatışmaların niteliğinin anlaşılmasına katkıda bulunulmaya çalışılacaktır.
Yücel-Öner Case has a great importance to understand the political changes and conflicts which emerged after 1945. Two subjects regarding this case have been mostly examined so far: The claim that Hasan Ali Yücel as the Minister of National Education protected left wing academicians and teachers and the debate on the policy of the Ministry of National Education on the translation of the world classics. Reseachers also analyzed these subjects in the context of political conflict; but there is another and neglected field of dispute regarding this conflict: Turkish literature textbooks and the claim of socialist-communist propaganda in these textbooks. In this article, the claim of socialist-communist propaganda in Turkish literature textbooks which reflects the conflict between left-wing- Kemalists and nationalist-conservatives will be examined and it will be tried to contribute our understanding of the nature of the political conflicts during the period of transition to a multi-party system.
