Meme Kanserli Kadınların Cinsel Sorunlarına Yönelik PLISSIT Model Doğrultusunda Verilen Cinsel Eğitimin Etkinliği

| dc.description.abstract | Meme kanseri tanısı konulan kadınların cinsel sorunlarına yönelik birçok problem fark edilip değerlendirilmekte ve farklı çözüm önerileri bulunmaktadır. Bu araştırma meme kanseri tanısı konulan kadınların cinsel sorunlarına yönelik PLISSIT model doğrultusunda yapılan cinsel eğitimin cinsel sorunlar üzerindeki etkinliğini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmış bir çalışmadır. Randomize kontrollü deneysel türde yapılan bu çalışma; dahil edilme kriterlerini sağlayan meme kanseri tanılı, cinsel disfonksiyonu tespit edilen 66 kadın (Çalışma Grubu=32, Kontrol Grubu=34) ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler; Haziran-Aralık 2021 tarihleri arasında, katılımcılarla iki kez görüşme sağlanarak “Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu”, “Arizona Cinsel Yaşantılar Ölçeği (ASEX) Kadın Formu”, “Kadın Cinsel İşlev Ölçeği (FSFI)” ve “Cinsel Uyum ve Beden İmajı Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Ayrıca çalışma grubuna PLISSIT model doğrultusunda hazırlanan “Sağlıklı Cinsel Yaşam Eğitim Broşürü ve Sunumu” eşliğinde eğitim verilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde; sayı, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma kullanılmıştır. Karşılaştırmalarda bağımlı ve bağımsız gruplarda t testi, Mann Whitney-U test, One Way ANOVA, Pearson Chi-Square test kullanılmıştır. Katılımcılar sosyodemografik, obstetrik, cinsel yaşam, tanı ve tedaviye ilişkin özellikler bakımından değerlendirildiğinde çalışma ve kontrol grubundaki kadınlar istatistiksel olarak benzer bulunmuştur. Ayrıca çalışma ve kontrol grubundaki kadınların ilk değerlendirme puanları benzer tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma grubuna verilen eğitim sonrası katılımcıların FSFI ilk ve son değerlendirme puanları arasında olumlu yönde fark saptanmıştır. Katılımcıların “Cinsel Uyum ve Beden İmajı Ölçeği” puanları incelendiğinde çalışma grubundaki kadınların cinsel fonksiyonlar üzerine etkisi alt boyutunda olumlu yönde ve sonraki beden imajı alt boyutunda olumsuz yönde farklılık olduğu belirlenmiş olup, diğer alt boyutlarda anlamlı bir fark saptanmamıştır. Çalışma sonucunda; PLISSIT model doğrultusunda verilen cinsel eğitim sonrası çalışma grubundaki kadınların FSFI puanlarının arttığı; Cinsel Uyum ve Beden İmajı Ölçeği cinsel fonksiyonlar üzerine etkisi alt boyut puanının arttığı, sonraki beden imajı alt boyut puanının azaldığı ve cinsel uyum, memelerin cinsellikteki önemi ve önceki beden imajı alt boyutlarında değişim olmadığı saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak; meme kanserli kadınlara verilen sağlık hizmeti kapsamına PLISSIT modele dayalı cinsel eğitimin entegre edilmesinin cinsel sağlık üzerine olumlu etkileri olduğu görülmüştür. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Many problems related to the sexual problems of women diagnosed with breast cancer are recognized and evaluated, but connot be adequately explained. This research is a study conducted to determine the effectiveness of sexual education conducted in line with the PLISSIT Model fort he sexual problems of women diagnosed with breast cander on sexual problems. This study, which was conducted in a randomized controlled experimental type; the study was conducted with 66 women (Study Group=32, Control Group=34) diagnosed with breast cancer and sexual dysfunction who met the inclusion criteria. Data; between June and December 2021, participants were interviewed twice and collected using the “Introductory Information Form”, “Arizona Sexual Experiences Scale (ASEX)”, “Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI)”, “Sexual Adfustment and Body Image Scale”. In addition, training was given to the working group with the “Healthy Sexual Life Education Brochure and Presentation” prepared in line with the PLISSIT Model. When the participants were evaluated in terms of sociodemographic, obstetric, sexual life, diagnosis and treatment characteristics, the women in the study and control groups were found to be statistically similar. After the training given to the study group, it was determined that there was a positive difference between the FSFI initial and final evaluation scores of the participants. When the Sexual Adjustment and Body Image Scale scores of the participants were examined, it was determined that there was a positive difference in the sub-dimension of the effect of women on sexual functions şn the study group and a negative difference in the subsequent body image sub-dimension and no significant difference was found in the other sub-dimensions. In the result of working; after the sexual education given in line with the PLISSIT Model, the FSFI scores of the women in the study group increased; it was determined that the effect of the Sexual Adjustment and Body Image Scale on sexual functions sub-dimension score increased and the next body image sub-dimension score decreased. As a result; it has been observed that integrating PLISSIT model based sexual education into the scope of health care provided to women with breast cancer has positive effects on sexual health. | en_US |
