Özet
Hititler, dini ritüellerinde çok sayıda obje kullanmışlardır. Tanrıların günlük ihtiyaçlarını karşılayabilmek amacıyla yiyecek – içecek sunuları gerçekleştirmişlerdir. Bu sunuların içerisinde ekmek, bira ve şarap önemli olmuştur. Sunular haricinde Hitit ritüellerinde insanlar, hayvanlar, ağaç – bitkiler, aletler, giysi ve süs ürünleri, kap çeşitleri, kraliyet sembolleri, ateş, sunaklar gibi birçok obje kullanılmıştır. Bu objelerin bazıları hem ritüelin gerçekleştirilmesinde yardımcı olmuşlar hem de çeşitli semboller olarak görev yapmışlardır. Çalışmanın içeriğinde hem Hitit yazılı belgeleri hem de arkeolojik malzemeler incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada sunu veya diğer amaçlarla kullanılan objelerin nasıl kullanıldıkları, bazı objelerin neleri sembolize ettikleri konusu araştırılmıştır.
The Hittites used a large number of objects in their religious rituals. They offered food and beverage offerings for fulfilment of daily needs of gods. Bread, beer and wine was important in these offerings. Apart from offerings peoples, as objects animals, trees, plants, tools, clothes, ormaments, utensils, regalias, fire, altars were used in Hittite religious rituals. Some of them in these objects, both help to made rituals and served as a various symbols. In the content of this work, were examined both Hittite cuneiform texts and archeological objects. Also were researched objects, to used offerings and other purposes, how used in the their rituals and the objects whats and how symbolized.
