| dc.description.abstract | Üzerinde yaşadığımız toprağın sahibi bizler için müzeler, yaşanılan toprağın altındaki kültürel zenginliklerle dolu mirasın konulduğu vitrinlerimizdir. Bu mirası bulmak arkeologlar ile sanat tarihçilerinin görevi iken, sergilenecek duruma getirmek onarımcının (restoratör, mimar, heykeltıraş, vb.) görevi, sergilemek ise müzenin görevidir. Bu durum, farklı meslek gruplarının bir arada çalışmasını gerektiren bir çalışma düzenidir. Bu çalışmada; 1960 yıllarında Antalya ili, Side antik kenti bölgesinde bulunan, Roma Dönemine ait, çoğunluğu mermer olan ve Side Müzesi koleksiyonlarında bulunan eserlerin 2004 yılına kadar geçirmiş oldukları koruma onarım süreci incelenmiştir. Daha sonra, Alman Heykeltıraş Dietmar Friese'in Side Müzesi ile olan anlaşması sonucu Müze bünyesinde kurduğu restorasyon atölyesinde restore ettiği 79 eserin bugünkü durumlarına dair görsel analizler yapılmıştır. Ayrıca, tarihsel araştırma sürecinde taş heykel restorasyonunun Dünya'da ve Türkiye'deki süreci incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde, incelenen eserlerin bulundukları ve restore edildikleri Side Müzesi ile eserlerin müzeye getirildiği, Side Antik kenti hakkında bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Son olarak ise, Dietmar Friese tarafından 2004-2006 yılları arasında Müze bünyesinde eserlere yapılan müdahaleler ve müdahale sonrası durumları incelenmiş, görsel analizleri yapılmış ve bir katalog hazırlanmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | For us, owning the land on which we live, museums are our showcases which host the culturally rich heritage underneath the soil we live. While the responsibility of archaeologists and art historians is to find this heritage, the repairer (restorer, architect, sculptor, etc.) is in charge of preparing it to be ready for display and the duty of a museum is to exhibit it. Hence, this type of work requires different professional groups to work together. In this study, the maintenance and renovation processes made until 2004 for the artifacts which are found in the Side ancient city, Antalya in 1960, mainly the marble pieces from the Roman period, and now in the collections of the Side Museum were examined. Then, the visual analyses of the current situations of 79 artifacts which were repaired by the German sculptor Dietmar Friese in the restoration studio located in the Side Museum based on an agreement with the museum were made. Also, the restoration history of the stone sculptures and their processes in the world and in Turkey were examined. In the second chapter, information regarding the Side Museum, where the artifacts are restored and located, and the ancient city of Side, where the artifacts were discovered, was given. Finally, the intervention works made for the museum artifacts by Dietmar Friese between 2004 and 2006 were examined. The post-intervention condition of the artifacts was examined, their virtual analysis was made, and a catalog was prepared. | en_US |
