dc.description.abstractAmaç - Uluslararası ticaretin gelişmesiyle birlikte ürün ve hizmet ihtiyacının çeşitlenmesi, piyasanın değişen görünümü, üretim sisteminin yanı sıra lojistik olgusunu da ön plana çıkarmıştır. Gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerde toplam hizmet sektörü içinde önemli bir yere sahip olan Lojistik Sektörü, ekonomik büyüme için de önemli itici güçlerden biridir. Lojistik sektörünün yaratığı katma değer, sektördeki istihdam oranı, taşımacılık cirosundaki artış sektöre dolayısıyla ekonomik büyümeye katkıda bulunmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de lojistik sektörünün ekonomik büyüme ile ilişkisini incelemektir Yöntem - Bu çalışmada 1998-2015 yıllarının üçer aylık verileri kullanılarak lojistik sektörü (Ulaştırma ve Depolama Faaliyetleri) ile ekonomik büyüme (GSYH) arasındaki ilişki; VAR (Vektör Otoregresyon) analizi yapılarak, VAR Granger Nedensellik, Etki Tepki Fonksiyonları ve Varyans Ayrıştırma testleri ile incelenmiştir. Bulgular – Yapılan Granger Nedensellik testi sonucunda Türkiye’de ekonomik büyümeden lojistik sektörüne doğru tek yönlü bir nedensellik ilişkisi olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuç – Küresel ekonomideki sorunlara rağmen ekonomik büyümenin artırılması, lojistik sektörünün de büyümesini sağlayacaktır.en_US
dc.description.abstractPurpose - Together with the development of international trade, as well as the diversification of product and service needs, the changing appearance of the market, the production system; logistics phenomenon has also come into prominence Logistics Sector, which has an important place in the total service sector in developed and developing countries, is one of the important driving forces for economic growth. The added value created by the logistics sector, the employment rate in the sector, the increase in the transportation turnover contribute to the sector and thus to economic growth. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of the economic growth of the logistics sector in Turkey. Methodology The aim of this study is to examine the effects of the economic growth of the logistics sector in Turkey. In this study, the relationship between logistics sector (Transport and Storage Activities) and economic growth (GDP) has been analyzed through VAR (Vector Autoregression) analysis with VAR Granger Causality, Effect Response Functions and Variance Decomposition tests by using quarterly data from 1998 to 2015. Findings – As a result of Granger causality test that have been made, it has been understood that there is a one-way causality relationship from economic growth to the logistics industry in Turkey. Conclusions – Despite the problems in the global economy, increasing the economic growth will also enable the logistics sector to growth.en_US
