| dc.description.abstract | Günümüzün değişen rekabet ortamında düşük maliyetli, kaliteli ve etkili bir sağlık hizmeti sunmak, hastanelerin temel amacını oluşturmaktadır. Hastane işletmelerinin etkili ve verimli hizmet verebilmesi, hedef ve amaçlarına ulaşabilmesi; düzenli olarak performans ölçüm ve denetimlerinin yapılmasına ve değerlendirilmesine bağlıdır. Bu çalışmada, hastane faaliyetlerinin gerçekleştirilmesinde performans yönetim sistemi anlayışı ile performansın ölçülmesi ve değerlendirilmesi hedef alınmıştır. Belirtilen amaçlar doğrultusunda çalışma hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmada konuyla ilgili yerli ve yabancı literatür taraması yapılarak bu alanda ortaya konmuş kitap, makale, araştırma projeleri, tezler ve internet dokümanları değerlendirilmiş, daha sonra sağlık sektöründe performans yönetimi üzerine kamu ve özelden bir hastane seçilerek anket uygulaması yapılmış, elde edilen veriler SPSS 15.0 paket programı yardımıyla değerlendirilip yorumlanmış ve araştırmanın hipotezleri test edilmiştir. Performans yönetim sistemini algılayışları açısından kamu (kâr amacı gütmeyen) ve özel (kâr amacı güden) hastanelerde çalışan doktorlar arasında fark olmaması araştırmanın temel sonucu olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu farksızlık sektörün kendi özelliğinden kaynaklanmış olabilir, çünkü sağlık, herkes için, kâr ve kısa vadeli diğer faydalardan daha önceliklidir. | dc.description.abstract | In a concurrent competitive environment the main objective of the healthcare services entity becomes supply of low-cost, high-quality, timely and effective service. This objective and other goals require an effective system of continuous performance measurement and evaluation established on the entity. The purpose of the research is to draw a picture of the performance management system used in the healthcare entity as it carries out its main activities. The research was based on the objectives stated. An in-depth research was performed of the domestic and foreign literature on the theme, including specialist books, research papers, university theses, hospital workshops, internet sources, etc. A questionnaire survey was performed on the performance management topic by selecting one public and one private hospital. The survey data were analyzed using statistical software (SPSS 15.0) and used to support hypotheses stated. Main result of the research is the following: the doctors? perception of the performance management system established on the hospitals surveyed doesn?t differ from each other, and thus, there is no difference between public (not-for-profit) and private (for-profit) hospitals, which may be the feature of the industry itself, namely - that the health care have a higher priority than profits and other short-term benefits, which naturally distinguishes hospitals from other businesses. | en_US |
