| dc.description.abstract | Araştırma konuyla ilgili literatür taraması ve alan araştırmasından oluşmaktadır. Alan araştırmasında araştırma evreni olarak Selçuk üniversitesinde çalışan kadın akademisyenler ele alınmıştır. Uygulamaya 187 kadın akademisyen katılmıştır. Alan çalışması anket tekniği kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Anketten elde edilen veriler ki-kare bağımsızlık testi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bu uygulama ile kadın akademisyenlerin mesleğe girme kararındaki en etkili faktör, mesleğe başlarken duyulan heyecan, meslek değişikliğini düşünme, cinsiyet ayrımcılığının varlığı, medeni durum ve çocuk sahibi olmanın kariyere etkileri, idari görevin verilip verilmemesi, çift kariyerlilik, ders saati fazlalığı, ek ders ücreti uygulaması, kariyer önceliği, bilimsel çalışma yapmak için zamanının yeterli olup olmaması konularındaki görüşleri alınarak bu konulara bakış açıları ve algıları ortaya konulmak istenmiştir. Araştırma sonucu elde edilen bulgulara genel olarak bakıldığında çift kariyerli eşlerin daha iyi konumda oldukları, mesleğe ideali sonucu girenlerin mesleklerinden tatmin olup mesleklerini değiştirmek istemedikleri, yeterince idari görev verilmediği, fırsat eşitsizliği yaşayanların yaşamayanlarla zıt görüşlere sahip oldukları görülmüştür. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This study consists of literature review and fieldwork on the subject. As population, the women academicians working at Selcuk University are handled in the field study. One handred and eighty-seven women academicians attend the practice. The fieldwork is carried out by using survey technique. The data obtained from the survey is evaluated with the square independence test. With this application, firstly, women academicians? views on the most influential factor in their decision to enter the profession, the excitement at the beginning of the profession, thinking about change of occupation, the presence of gender discrimination, the effects of marital status and having children on career, whether any administrative function is given to them or not, being dual career, the excess of course hours, the application of additional course fee, the priority of career, and whether time is sufficiant to do scientific study are taken, and it is intended that their perspectives and perceptions on these issues are presented. When considered the findings obtained from the research in general, it is observed that as the academic title rises, dual career couples are in a better position, those who enters the profession as a result of their ideals are satisfied with their professions and so do not want to change them, and finally those who have enough administrative functions and live in the inequality of opportunity have opposite views with those who have not these negatives. | en_US |
