Many precipitants such as food allergy, environmental exposures (insect bite), bronchial asthma, angioedema, urticaria, serum sickness, drugs (antibiotics, corticosteroids, dextran, nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs, skin disinfectants, tetanus toxoid, analgesics, antineoplastics, thrombolytics, anticoagulants, proton pump inhibitors, contrast media) have been reported to be associated with KS.
