Özet
İlk üç halife döneminde, İslâm toplumunun hayat standartlarını yükseltmek için yoğun çaba sarf edilmişti. Özellikle sosyal, siyâsî ve dîni alanda yapılan çalışmalarda doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak bu olayların içinde rol alanlardan biride Hz.Ali olmuştu. Siyasî olaylar açısından baktığımızda hilafet seçimlerinde kimi zaman gerekli gördüğü durumlarda itirazları, kimi zamanda adaylığı esnasında takındığı tavrı ve tutumuyla en çok dikkat çeken bir şahsiyet olmuştu. Hz.Ali idari manada Hz.Ömer hariç diğer halifeler döneminde ciddi bir görev almamıştı. Buna rağmen, her üç halife döneminde de her türlü idari konuda istişâre edilen çok önemli bir danışman olarak halifelerin yanında bulunmuştu. Hz.Ali, müslüman toplumun dirlik ve bütünlüğü konusunda çok hassastı. Hangi dönemde olursa olsun, toplumun bütünlüğünü bozacak herhangi bir sosyal hadiseye karşı, ilk tavır alanlardan biride o olmuştu. Diğer taraftan müslümanların faydasına olan her türlü davranış ve girişiminde yanında olmuştu.
A great effort was spent in first three caliphs period to rise living standarts of islamic society. Especially, one of the people who took part directly or indirectly in studies that were done in social, political and religional branches, was Hz.Ali. When we look with aspect of political events, sometimes with his objectins in necessary conditions and sometimes with his manner and conduct, Hz.Ali became a personality who was called attention the most in caliphate election. Hz.Ali with his personal desire didn't took any important responsibility in administration in first three caliphs period except for Hz.Ömer. Despite this situation, in the first three caliphs period he was a very important consultant beside caliphs in every administrative subject.Hz.Ali was very sensitive about wealth and integrity of the islamic society. No matter which period it was, he became one of the people that first started action to protect integrity of society against any social event. Also, he supported every behaviour and enterprise that were beneficial for the Moslems.
