This research was carried out in 2023 in Konya-Hüyük conditions in order to determine the effects of different row distances on yield and some agronomic traits in SU group sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) varieties. The experiment was set up according to the Split Plots Trial Design in Randomized Blocks with three replications. Three oil sunflower varieties (P64LE141, LG50.559SX, LG50.689SX) resistant to Tribenuron methyl herbicide (SU group) were used as trial material in the research. Planting was done with 15, 20 and 25 cm within the row and 70 cm between rows. Plant height (cm), head diameter (cm), stem diameter (cm), seed yield (kg/da), oil ratio (%), oil yield (kg/da) and shell ratio (%) traits were investigated in the research. According to the results obtained in the research, the longest plant height among the varieties was obtained in LG50.559SX variety with 109.87 cm, while it gave the maximum plant height value (106.50 cm) at 20 cm in-row distance. While the highest stem diameter was obtained as 5.54 cm in LG50.689SX variety, the highest stem diameter was measured as 5.62 cm in 20 cm in-row application. The highest 100 seed weight was obtained as 3.97 g among the varieties in LG50.559SX variety, while it was obtained as 3.94 between the row distances. The highest seed yield was obtained as 298.33 kg/da in LG50.689SX variety, and it gave the highest seed yield as 285.33 kg/da at 20 cm in-row distance. The highest value in terms of oil content was determined as 46.95% in LG50.559SX variety. While the highest oil yield value was obtained as 130.54 kg/da in 20 cm application, it was determined as 134.93 kg/da in LG50.689SX variety. According to the conditions of Hüyük District of Konya Province, the highest seed yield and oil yield values were observed in LG50.559SX variety at 20 cm row spacing.
