Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, beden kütle indeksleri spor yapmaya uygun çocukların tenis branşına göre yetenek düzeylerini belirleyebilecek test bataryası oluşturmaktır. Araştırmaya Konya ilindeki sosyo ekonomik düzeyleri birbirinden farklı olan üç ilköğretim okulundan seçilen 500?ü kız, 517?si erkek olmak üzere toplam 1017 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin yaş, boy uzunluğu ve vücut ağırlığı ortalamaları kızlar için sırasıyla 6,53±0,49 yıl, 122,67±6,11cm ve 24,63±4,68 kg olarak erkekler için ise 6,52±0,50 yıl, 123,73±6,68 cm ve 25,39±5,22 kg olarak tespit edilmiştir. Motorik özelliklerin belirlenmesi için 20 m. sürat koşusu testi, altıgen testi ve durarak uzun atlama testi uygulanırken, tenis branşına özgü yetenek düzeylerinin belirlenmesi için ise duvara top atma testi (1 metre), raketle top taşıma testi, reaksiyon testi ve duvara top atma testi (2 metre) uygulanmıştır. Ölçüm sonuçlarının aritmetik ortalaması (X), standart sapma (Sd) ve %1, 10, 25?lik dilimler halinde sonuçları tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada uygulanan tüm testlerin yaş gruplarına ve cinsiyete göre yüzdelik dağılımları hesaplanarak ?düşük, normal, yüksek ve çok yüksek? olmak üzere dört bölümde değerlendirilmiştir. Duvara top atma testinde (1 metre) Cronbach Alpha kat sayısı 0,918 olarak belirlenmiş ve kızlar için normal değer (%25-50 arası) 14-21 adet/dk arası, çok yüksek değer (%75 üzeri) 32-51 adet/dk iken, erkekler için normal değer 15-22 adet/dk arası, çok yüksek değer ise 33-50 adet/dk olarak bulunmuştur. Raketle top taşıma testinde Cronbach Alpha kat sayısı 0,763?dır. Bu test için her iki cinste de normal değer 2-3 adet/dk, çok yüksek değer ise 3-4 adet/dk olarak belirlenmiştir. Reaksiyon testinde de kız ve erkek öğrencilerin puanları aynı çıkmıştır. Buna göre normal değerler 6-7 adet, çok yüksek değerler ise 9-10 adet olarak tespit edilmiştir. Testin Cronbach Alpha katsayısı 0,754 olarak bulunmuştur. Duvara top atma testi (2 metre) için kızlarda normal değer 18-22 adet/dk, çok yüksek değer ise 26-35 adet/dk iken, erkeklerde normal değer 19-22 adet/dk ve çok yüksek değer ise 28-40 adet/dk olarak belirlenmiştir. Testin Cronbach Alpha katsayısı 0.810?dur. Sonuç olarak, bu çalışmada tenis branşında yetenek düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla uygulanan testlerin, 6-7 yaşındaki çocuklarda yetenek seçiminin ilk aşaması için uygun ve güvenilir testler olabileceği düşünülmektedir.
The purpose of this study is to create test batteries to be able to determine levels of ability of the children, regarding the sport of tennis, whose body mass indexes are eligible for doing sport. The subject matters of the study include a total of 1017 students, 500 girls and 517 boys, from three different primary schools in Konya, their socio-economical status being different from each other. Their average age, height and body weight for the girls respectively are determined as 6,53±0,49, 122,67±6,11cm and 24,63±4,68 kg, while for the boys they are 6,52±0,50 age, 123,73±6,68 cm and 25,39±5,22 kg respectively. While 20 meter sprint test, hexagonal test and standing long jump test were practiced in order to obtain motoric features, throwing ball against wall test (1 meter), carrying ball on racket test, reaction test and throwing ball against wall test (2 meter) were applied. Arithmetic mean (X), the standard deviation (Sd) and %1, 10, 25 slice results were determined. The percentage distribution of all the tests according to age groups and sex in this study was calculated and then evaluated in four sections as "low, normal, high and very high". In throwing ball against wall test (1 meter), Cronbach Alpha coefficient was determined as 0,918. While normal value (between %25-50) for the girls was obtained to be 14-21 unit/min, very high value (over %75 ) was obtained as 32-51 unit/min, but for the boys, normal value was obtained to be 15-22 unit/min, while very high value (over %75 ) for boys was obtained as 33-50 unit/min.
