İstanbul’da ulusal mimarlık üslubunda bir eser: Beykoz Bozhane Köyü Camii

| dc.description.abstract | İstanbul’un Anadolu Yakası’nda Boğaziçi ve Karadeniz’in kesiştiği bölgede yer alan Beykoz İlçesi şehir merkezinden uzak önemli bir yerleşim merkezidir. Beykoz’da çok sayıda köy bulunmaktadır. Bu köylerden biri bölgenin kuzeyinde bulunan Bozhane Köyü’dür. Bozhane Köyü bünyesinde yer alan Osmanlı’nın son dönemine ait sivil mimarlık örnekleri, meydanda yer alan camisi ve mezarlığıyla tipik Anadolu köy özelliklerini yansıtmaktadır. Köy meydanında yer alan ve köyün ismiyle anılan Bozhane Köyü Camii Osmanlı’nın son döneminde inşa edilen bir köy camisi olup devrin Ulusal Mimarlık Üslubunu yansıtan önemli bir yapıdır. Milliyetçilik, Osmanlıcılık ve İslamcılık fikir anlayışlarının etkisiyle Selçuklu, erken Osmanlı ve klasik Osmanlı mimari üsluplarından esinlenerek ortaya çıkan Ulusal Mimarlık Üslubu İstanbul’da 1894 depremi sonrası yapılan inşaat faaliyetleri ve onarım çalışmalarıyla ortaya çıktığı söylenebilir. İttihat ve Terakki’nin yönetimi ele geçirdiği dönemde devletin resmî üslubu olmuş ve 1930’lu yıllara kadar inşa edilen ya da onarılan yapılarda tercih edilmiştir. Ulusal Mimarlık Üslubu İstanbul’un sadece merkezî bölgelerinde tercih edilmemiştir. 1909-1910 yıllarına tarihlendirilen Bozhane Köyü Camii İstanbul taşrasında bulunan Ulusal Mimarlık Üslubunda inşa edilmiş bir cami örneğidir. Ulusal Mimarlık Üslubu hakkında yapılan mimari çalışmalarda Bozhane Köyü Camii’ne yer verilmediği tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışma ile Bozhane Köyü Camii’nin tarihçesi ve mimari özelliklerini literatüre kazandırılması amaçlanmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Beykoz District, which is located on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul, at the intersection of the Bosphorus and the Black Sea, is an important residential area far from the city center. There are many villages in Beykoz. One of these villages is Bozhane Village, located in the north of the region. The examples of civil architecture from the last period of the Ottoman Empire within Bozhane Village reflect typical Anatolian village characteristics with its mosque and cemetery located in the square. Bozhane Village Mosque, located in the village square and named after the village, is a village mosque built in the last period of the Ottoman Empire and it is an important building that reflects the National Architectural Style of the period. It can be said that the National Architectural Style, which emerged inspired by the Seljuk, early Ottoman and classical Ottoman architectural styles under the influence of nationalism, Ottomanism and Islamism, emerged with the construction activities and repair works carried out after the 1894 earthquake in Istanbul. It became the official style of the state during the period when the Committee of Union and Progress took over the government and it was preferred in buildings built or repaired until the 1930s. The National Architectural Style was not only preferred in the central regions of Istanbul. Bozhane Village Mosque, dated to 1909-1910, is an example of a mosque built in the National Architecture Style in the provinces of Istanbul. It has been determined that the Bozhane Village Mosque was not included in the architectural studies conducted about the National Architecture Period. With this study, it is aimed to introduce the history and architectural features of Bozhane Village Mosque to the literature. | |
