dc.description.abstractKadınlarda meme kanseri akciğer ve kolorektal kanserlerden sonra 3. en sık ölüm nedenidir. Çalışmamızın amacı, Adana Numune Hastanesi Genel Cerrahi Kliniğinde Ocak 1997 – Aralık 2003 tarihleri arasında ameliyat edilen meme kanserli kadın hastaların retrospektif dosya kayıtlarının incelenmesinde, sağ kalım üzerinde etkili olan yaş, tümörün evresi, çapı, histolojik tipi, uygulanan ameliyat tipi, metastatik aksiller lenf nodlarının sayısı ile radyo/kemoterapi gibi prognostik faktörleri belirlemektir.en_US
dc.description.abstractBreast cancer is the 3rd cause of death in women among worldwide following lung and colon cancers. In this retrospective review of the charts, 56 patients operated for breast cancer in General Surgery Training Clinic of Adana Numune Hospital between January 1997 and December 2003. We aimed to analyse the prognostic factors including the age, tumor grade and stage, histopathologic type , performed surgical procedures, number of excised lymph nodes and radio / chemotherapy.en_US
