Özet
Amaç: Çalışma, kırsal toplumun sağlık hizmetlerinden yararlanma durumu ve beklentilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Araştırma, tanımlayıcı tipte bir saha araştırması olup, 1996 yılında, Konya ili kırsal kesim örneği olan Altınekin ilçesinde yapıldı. Veriler, örneğe çıkan 136 haneden, aileyi temsilen bir kişiyle yüz yüze görüşerek toplandı. Bulgular: Kırsal alanda herhangi bir hastalık durumunda halk hekimine başvuru ve reçetesiz ilaç kullanım oranı yüksekti. Toplumun çoğu genel sağlık hizmetini yetersiz bulmaktaydı. Aile planlamasını benimseme oranı % 68.4 olup, bu oran erkeklerde, gençlerde ve ilkokuldan sonra öğrenim görenlerde daha yüksekti. Toplum ile sağlık personeli arasındaki iletişim eksikliği, hizmetten yararlanmayı önemli ölçüde etkilemekteydi. Sonuç: Kırsal kesim sağlık kuruluşlarından yeterince yararlanmamaktadır.
Objective: This study was performed to determine the availability of health services of people in rural area. Method: This study was performed as a descriptive field research in 1996, Altınekin township of Konya district, a rural area sample. The data was accumulated by applying a survey to 136 subjects by interviewing with one person from each house. Results: It was common that using drugs without prescription and consulting to herbalists and chiropractors in any kind of disease among people of Altınekin. Health services were accepted as insufficient by the most of the subjects. The admittance rate of family planning was 68.4 % and higher in men, youngs and people who had education after primary school than the others. The insufficiency of dialog and interest between public and health staff has an important effect on usage of health services. Conclusion: The usage of health services by people is inefficient in rural area.
