dc.description.abstractSon yıllarda, turistlerin seyahatlerinde farklı ve yerel deneyimler yaşamaya eğilim gösterdikleri ve paylaşım ekonomisi kapsamında yapılan turizm faaliyetlerine yönelik talebin giderek arttığı görülmektedir. Bu araştırmada, paylaşım ekonomisi faaliyetlerinden biri olan Couchsurfing deneyimlerinin aktif kullanıcılar tarafından nasıl anlamlandırıldığı, motivasyonların altında yatan sebepleri ve deneyimlerini incelemek amacıyla nitel bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Durum çalışması deseni ile tasarlanan araştırma kapsamında, 7 aktif üye ile sosyal medya üzerinden yapılan e-görüşmeler ve 150 üyenin hesaplarındaki bilgiler ana verileri oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, öz belirleme teorisinin çerçevesinde betimsel içerik analizi ile yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, Couchsurfing deneyimleri sayesinde turistlerin öz belirleme teorisinin ortaya koyduğu bireysel ihtiyaçların çoğunu karşıladığını göstermektedir. Bu doğrultuda, turizm sektöründe deneyim odaklı ürün sunulmasının önemine değinilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn recent years, it has been observed that tourists tend to experience different and local experiences during their travels and the demand for tourism activities within the scope of the sharing economy is increasing. In this research, a qualitative study was conducted to explore how Couchsurfing experiences, which is one of the nonprofit accommodation activities, are interpreted by active users, the reasons underlying the motivations and their experiences. Within the scope of the research, which was designed with a case study pattern, written interviews with 7 active members over social media and information on the accounts of 150 members constitute the main data. The data were themed with the perspective of self-determination theory and interpreted with descriptive content analysis. The research results show that tourists meet most of the individual needs revealed by the self-determination theory, thanks to their Couchsurfing experience. In this direction, the importance of presenting experience-oriented products in the tourism sector has been mentioned.en_US
