Gazete karikatürlerindeki ideolojik kodların 2009 yerel seçimleri örneğinde analizi

Özet
29 Mart 2009 Yerel Seçimleri'nin gazete karikatürlerine nasıl yansıdığının söy-lemsel ve ideolojik analizinin yapıldığı bu çalışmada, karikatürlerin içerdiği ideolojik kodların çözümlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Cumhuriyet, Milliyet ve Zaman gazetelerinde yayınlanan karikatürlerin incelendiği çalışmada gazete karikatürlerinde seçimlere ilişkin ana temaların neler olduğu, gazete karikatürlerinin gazetelerin ideolojileri çerçevesinde hareket edip etmedikleri, gazete karikatürlerinin bir muhalefet aracı olarak bir işlev üstlenip üstlenemedikleri, ne derece muhalif bir söylem üretebildikleri, gazete karikatürlerinde seçim konusu ele alınırken, seçimlerle ilişkilendirilen ve ön plana çıkarılan konularda gazetelerin ideolojik yönelimlerinin etkisinin olup olmadığı, gazete karikatürlerinde siyasal aktörlerin sunumunda ideolojik konumlanışın ne derece belirleyici olduğu sorularına cevap aranmıştır. Çalışmada gazete karikatürlerinin, bağlı oldukları gazetelerin ideolojileri ve yakın oldukları siyasi oluşumların ideolojilerini yansıtmakta ve pekiştirmekte oldukları bulgulanmıştır. Gazetelerde yer alan karikatürler gazetenin ideolojisi ve egemen söylemi çerçevesinde konumlanmaktadır. Gazete karikatürleri ideolojik yönelimlerine paralel olarak kendi doğrularını gazete karikatürleri üzerinden meşrulaştırmaya çalışmakta ve ideolojinin doğallaştırma işlevi ile hegemonik bir süreçte kendi kendine işlemekte, rıza üretimi de ideoloji ve hegemonyanın çeşitli stratejileriyle sağlan-maktadır. Gazete karikatürlerinde siyasal partilere yaklaşım ile gazetelerin temsil ettikleri ideolojik konumlanış arasında bir paralellik olduğu görülmektedir. Çalışmada ele alınan gazeteler çerçevesinde yapılan çözümlemeler doğrultusunda, gazete karikatürlerinin muhalif bir söylem üretme potansiyelinin, iktidara ve egemen söyleme ne derece yakın ve uzak olduklarıyla ilişkili bir konu olduğu açıkça söylenebilir.
In this work where the ways for Local Elections in March 29th 2009 to be reflected through the newspaper cartoons are analysed ideologically and discursively it?s aimed to decode the ideological codes featured by the cartoons. In the work where the cartoons issued in the newspapers Cumhuriyet, Milliyet and Zaman are studied, the answers are searched for the questions as what the main themes related to the elections are in the newspaper cartoons, whether the newspaper cartoons fall into line with the newspapers ideologies, whether the newspaper cartoons function as means of opposition, to what extent they could produce an opposed discourse, whether there was the effect of ideological orientation of the newspapers on the subjects which were made related to the locations and highlighted when the election was considered in the newspaper cartoons and what extent the ideological positioning was determinant in political actors? presentations in the newspaper cartoons. It is found that the newspaper cartoons have been reflecting and reinforcing the ideologies of the newspapers they belong to and the political stance they are close to. The cartoons which take place in the newspapers are positioned within the scope of the newspaper?s ideology and hegemonic discourse. The newspaper cartoons have been trying to legitimize their own rights as parallel to their ideological orientation and naturalization function of ideology works itself in a hegemonic process, therefore producing consent is provided by the various strategies of ideology and hegemony. It is seen in the newspaper cartoons that there is a paralellism between the approach to the political parties and the ideological positioning of the newspapers. In the direction of the analyses in the scope of the newspapers considered in this work it can clearly be stated that the newspaper cartoons? potential to produce an opposed discourse is related to the fact what extent they are close or far from power and hegemonic discourse.
