Özet
Amaç: Oral liken planus (OLP) oral mukozada görülen otoimmün, enflamatuar, mukokütanöz bir hastalıktır. Kesin tedavisi bulunmadığından semptomatik tedaviler uygulanmaktadır. Topikal kortikosteroidler tedavide ilk tercih olmakla birlikte birçok farklı topikal veya sistemik ajan kullanılmıştır. Bu olgu serisinde amacımız oral liken planus tedavisinde kortikosteroidlere alternatif tedavi olan i-PRF in etkinliği hakkında edindiğimiz sonuçları paylaşmaktır. Olgu Tanımlaması: Kliniğimize çift taraflı yanma ve ağrı şikayetiyle başvuran eroziv, retiküler OLP hastaların bir tarafına OLP nin altın standardı olan depo kortikosteroid, diğer tarafına injectable-plateletrich-fibrin (i-PRF) uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: İşlem öncesi VAS değeri ile işlemlerden 2 ay sonrası VAS değeri arasında anlamlı farklılık gözlenmiştir. Klinik olarak da lezyonun gerilediği farkedilmiştir. Sonuç: OLP tedavisinde kortikosteroidlere alternatif tedavi olan iPRF, hazırlaması kolay, hızlı üretilebilir otojen bir teknik olmakla beraber, yabancı materyaller içermediği için tamamen otolog yapıda kan ürünüdür.
Background: Oral lichen planus (OLP) is an autoimmune, inflammatory, mucocutaneous disease of the oral mucosa. As there is no curative treatment, treatment is symptomatic. Topical corticosteroids are the first choice of treatment, but many different topical or systemic agents have been used. In this case series, our aim is to give information about the efficacy of i-PRF, an alternative treatment for corticosteroids in the treatment of oral lichen planus. Case Description: Erosive, reticular OLP patients who applied to our clinic with bilateral burn and pain were treated with storage corticosteroid as the gold standard of OLP and injectable-platelet-rich-fibrin (i-PRF) to the other side. Results: A significant difference was observed between the VAS value of before the process and the VAS value 2 months after the process. Clinically, the lesion regressed. Conclusion: i-PRF, which is an alternative treatment for corticosteroids in the treatment of OLP, is an autogenous technique that is easy to prepare and fast to produce.
