| dc.description.abstract | İnsanlar çocukluk yaşlarından itibaren davranışlarını şekillendirmek sosyalleşmek, eğitimlerini sürdürüp geleceğe ve hayata hazırlanmak gibi kazanımlar elde edebilmek adına okula gitmektedirler. Bu nedenle okul sadece öğretim değil eğitim sistemi olarak da değerlendirilir. Eğitim öğretim hayatımızın baş faktörü öğretmenlerimizin yaşadıkları stres bir sonraki adımda tükenmişlik olarak ortaya çıkmakta ve bu durum sadece bireyleri değil toplumları da olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı, özel okul öğretmenlerinde tükenmişliğe yol açan başlıca faktörleri belirlemek ve bu faktörlerin yol açtığı olumsuz etkileri incelemektir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomenoloji yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın katılımcıları amaçlı örneklem yöntemine göre seçilen 11 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Veriler açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise tematik analiz kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda tükenmişliğin öncülleri; “iş yükü ve zaman baskısı, performans baskısı ve yüksek beklenti, psikolojik zorluklar, yönetim sorunları, motivasyon ve iş tatmini sorunları” olmak üzere beş tama altında sınıflandırılmıştır. Tükenmişliğin ardılları ise; “psikolojik etkiler, fiziksel sağlık sorunları, düşük iş performansı, sosyal ilişkilerde zayıflama” temaları ile sınıflandırılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | People go to school in order to shape their behaviour, socialise, continue their education and prepare for the future and life since childhood. For this reason, the school is considered not only as a teaching but also as an educational system. The stress experienced by our teachers, who are the main factor in our education life, emerges as burnout in the next step and this situation negatively affects not only individuals but also societies. In this context, the aim of this study is to determine the main factors that lead to burnout in private school teachers and to examine the negative effects caused by these factors. The qualitative research designs, was used in the study. The participants of the study consisted of 11 teachers selected according to the purposive sampling method. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview form consisting of open-ended questions. Thematic analysis was used to analyse the data. As a result of the analysis, the antecedents of burnout were classified into five categories: “workload and time pressure, performance pressure and high expectations, psychological difficulties, management problems, motivation and job satisfaction problems”. The consequences of burnout are categorised as “psychological effects, physical health problems, poor work performance, weakening of social relationships”. | |
