dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada Sultan II. Abdülhamid Döneminde Mısır Meselesi ve Osmanlı Devleti'nin bu mesele etrafında Mısır politikasının temel dinamikleri üzerinde durulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla, giriş bölümünde Mısır'ın tarihî geçmişine kısaca değinilmiş, Mısır'da İslam ve Osmanlı fethi, Osmanlı Devleti'nin Mısır'daki konumu ve bunun Mısır'da Osmanlı idaresine yansıması ele alınmıştır. Yine Mısır Meselesi'ne medhal olarak İsmail Paşa döneminde Mısır Meselesi etrafında Osmanlı Devleti'nin Mısır politikalarına değinilmiştir. Akabinde de Mısır'ın İngilizler tarafından işgal edilmesi süreci ve Osmanlı Devleti'nin bu süreci engelleme çabaları, diplomasileri ve mücadeleleri çalışmada yer bulmuştur. Başta Süveyş Kanalı meselesi olmak üzere, Sudan Meselesi, Sevakin'de strateji mücadelesi ve Akabe-Taba Meseleleri gibi Mısır Meselesi'nin etrafında değerlendirilebilecek olan meseleler ve bunların Mısır Meselesi?ne etkilerine değinilerek Osmanlı Devleti'nin bölge politikalarına yansımaları irdelenmiştir. Devletin Mısır politikalarına yaklaşımına kuramsal bir çerçevesi olmak üzere, Sultan II. Abdülhamid ve Mısır Meselesi başlığıyla devletin, Mısır ile siyasî, hukukî, dinî bağlarını, padişahın Mısır'a dair politika tanzim ederken politikalarını nasıl şekillendirdiğine değinilmiştir. İşgal ile birlikte Osmanlı Devleti'nin Mısır'daki konumu, hâkimiyet paradigmaları üzerinden belirlenmeye çalışılarak, buna İngilizlerin nasıl karşı paradigmalar ürettiği, bunun Osmanlı Devleti'nin Mısır'daki konumunu nasıl sınırlandırdığı ve İngilizlerin Mısır'da bütün otoritelerin üstünde nasıl bir konum elde ettiği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Mısır Meselesi'nin uluslararası boyutuna da değinmeden geçemezdik. Bu amaçla, başta İngiltere olmak üzere Fransa Rusya, Almanya ve İtalya'nın, Mısır Meselesi'nde nasıl bir konum elde etmeye çalıştıklarını ve bunun diplomasiye nasıl yansıdığını ortaya koymaya çalıştık.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the matter of Egypt in the term of II. Sultan Abdulhamit and the basic dynamics of Ottoman Empire's politics about Egypt are discussed. Based on this sentence, in the prolog, the history of Egypt is mentioned, Islamic and Ottoman conquest in Egypt, the location of Ottoman Empire in Egypt and the reflection of this situation to Ottoman administration are handled. And again related to the Matter of Egypt, Ottoman Empire's politics about Egypt in the term of Ismail Pashaare dealt with. Right after, the invasion of Egypt by the English and the efforts, diplomacies and struggles of Ottomans to hinder this process are taken place in this study. As first, Suez Canal, the Matter of Sudan, the strategy struggle in Sevakin and the Matter of Akabe-Taba that can be evaluated around the Matter of Egypt and also refering the effects of these matters to Egypt, Ottomans' effects on regional politics are dealt with. As the theoretical frame on the approach of the state to the politics of Egypt, we mentioned about the political, jural and religious relations of the state with Egypt and hoe the sultan figured out these policies while he arranged them with the heading ?Sultan II. Abdulhamit and the Matter of Egypt?. Trying to define the position of Ottoman State in Egypt with the invasion on the basis of domination paradigms we defined how the English produced versus paradigms and how this affects the position of Ottoman in Egypt and also the English tried to gain the leading position superior of all the authorities. We couldn't overpass without mentioning the international aspect of the Matter of Egypt. With this statement, we tried to study on how other countries; as first England, then France Russia, Germany and Italy made an effort to have a position on the Matter of Egypt and how this affects the international diplomacy.en_US
