dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the characteristics of an ideal teacher according to pre-service teachers. 248 pre-service teachers participated in the study. The participants were given open-ended questionnaire forms to collect data and responses were received in written form. The collected data were analysed using the descriptive analysis method. According to the findings of the survey, pre-service teachers gave priority to the ideal teacher's educational characteristics and personal qualities over the others.en_US
