Özet
Abdullah Harmancı, edebiyatımızda öykü türünde verdiği eserlerle
tanınmaktadır. Yazı hayatına şiirle başlayan roman denemelerinden sonra öyküde
karar kılan Harmancı, bu alanda Türk öykücülüğü için önemli eserler vermiştir.
“Muhteris”, “Ertesi Dünya”, “Yerlere Göklere”, “Seni Ne İhtiyarlattı”, “Melek
Kayıtları”, “Behçet Bey Neden Gülümsedi?”, “Baltan Taşa Değecek”, isimli yedi
öykü kitabı bulunan yazar öykülerinde aşk, yalnızlık, yazarların ve dergi yayıncılığının
sorunları, akademisyenlerin problemleri, taşra-merkez çatışması, karı-koca ilişkileri,
ölüm, ahiret yaşamı gibi konuları işlemiştir.
Harmancı’nın İslamî anlamda ağırlık kazanan dünya görüşü öykülerinin
temelini oluşturur. Yazar yaşamı ve dünya görüşü ile sanat anlayışını dengede tutmaya
çalışır. Bu bağlamda yazı hayatına aktif olarak devam eden Abdullah Harmancı’nın
öykülerinde hayatından ve kişisel özelliklerinden izler bulmak mümkündür. O,
çevresinden beslenen bir yazar olmakla beraber daima yeni bir biçim arayışı içinde
olmuştur. Kısa ve küçürek öyküler kaleme alan Harmancı, postmodern izler de
barından öyküleriyle edebiyat dünyasında öykü alanında tanınan bir isim hâline
gelmiştir.
Bu çalışma Abdullah Harmancı’yı “Edebî Kişiliği ve Öykücülüğü” ekseninde
inceleyerek Harmancı’nın Türk edebiyatındaki yerini ve önemi tespit etmeyi
amaçlamaktadır.
Abdullah Harmancı is known in our literature with his works in the story genre. Having started his writing career with poetry, Harmancı, who decided on the story after his novel trials, produced important works for Turkish short storytelling in this field. “Muhteris”, “Ertesi Dünya”, “Yerlere Göklere”, “Seni Ne İhtiyarlattı”, “Melek Kayıtları”, “Behçet Bey Neden Gülümsedi?”, “Baltan Taşa Değecek” the author, who has seven storybooks titled, has covered topics such as love, loneliness, problems of authors and magazine publishing, problems of academics, provincial-center conflict, husband-wife relations, death and afterlife. Harmancı's worldview, which gains weight in the Islamic sense, forms the basis of his stories. The writer tries to balance his life and worldview with his understanding of art. In this context, it is possible to find traces from the stories of Abdullah Harmancı, who actively continues his writing life, from his life and personal characteristics. Also, he is a writer who feeds on his environment, he has always been in search of a new form. Harmancı, who wrote short and short stories, has become a well-known name in the field of short stories in the literary world with his stories from the bar with postmodern traces. This study aims to detect Harmancı’s significance and stand in Turkish literature by examining Abdullah Harmancı in the axis of “Literary Personality and Storytelling”.
