Özet
Bu çalışma, Davraz Kayak Merkezi'ni ekoturizm açısından değerlendirmiş ve
kış turizminde ekoturizmin önemini vurgulamıştır. Araştırmada, Davraz Kayak
Merkezi'ni ziyaret eden ekoturistlerin profilleri incelenerek ekoturizme katılım ve
algıların ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Toplamda 213 kişiyle nicel olarak
gerçekleştirilen araştırma, katılımcıların ekoturizme yönelik tutumlarının cinsiyet ve
eğitim düzeyine bağlı olarak farklılaşmadığını göstermektedir. Ancak yaş gruplarına
göre tutum farklılıkları saptanmıştır, özellikle 26-35 yaş aralığındaki katılımcıların
ekoturizme yönelik daha olumlu bir tutuma sahip olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Eğitim
seviyeleri ve meslek gruplarına göre ise farklılıklar belirlenmemiştir. Gelir düzeyi
farklı olsa da katılımcıların ekoturizm hizmet kalitesi ve tutumlarının büyük ölçüde
benzer olduğu gözlenmiştir. Farklı seyahat gruplarına göre katılımcılar arasında
farklılıklar belirlenmiş, acenta ile seyahat edenlerin daha olumlu bir tutuma sahip
olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Tur süresinin ise ekoturizm algısı ve katılım nedenleri
üzerinde etkisi belirlenmemiştir. Sonuç olarak, Davraz Kayak Merkezi'nin ekoturizm
açısından büyük potansiyele sahip olduğu ve farklı demografik gruplar arasında benzer
tutumlar olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu çalışma, ekoturizmin teşvik edilmesi ve
sürdürülebilirliğinin artırılması için önemli bir temel sağlayabilir.
This study evaluated Davraz Ski Center from the perspective of ecotourism, emphasizing the importance of ecotourism in winter tourism. The research aimed to examine the profiles of ecotourists visiting Davraz Ski Center and to reveal their participation in and perceptions of ecotourism. Quantitative research was conducted with a total of 213 participants, demonstrating that participants' attitudes towards ecotourism did not significantly differ based on gender and educational levels. However, variations in attitudes were observed among different age groups, particularly with participants between the ages of 26-35 exhibiting a more favorable attitude towards ecotourism. No significant differences were identified based on educational backgrounds and occupational groups. Despite varying income levels, participants displayed largely similar perceptions of ecotourism service quality and attitudes. Variations were noted among participant groups with different travel arrangements, with those traveling with agencies showing a more favorable attitude. The duration of the tour did not significantly impact the perception of ecotourism and reasons for participation. In conclusion, this study suggests that Davraz Ski Center holds significant potential for ecotourism, with similar attitudes observed among various demographic groups. This study may serve as an important foundation for promoting and enhancing the sustainability of ecotourism.
