Özet
Hipertiroidide plazma lipid düzeylerinin değişik derecelerde etkilendiği bilindiği halde, subklinik hipertiroidide etkileşimin olup olmadığı ya da nasıl olduğu açıkça belli değildir. Çalışmamızda aşikar klinik ve subklinik hipertiroidi tanısı olan hastalarda tedavi öncesi ve sonrası serum lipid düzeyleri incelendi. Tedavi öncesi değerler sağlıklı kontrol grubu ve tedavi sonu hasta grubu ile istatistiksel olarak karşılaştırıldı. Hipertiroidi saptanan grupta total kolesterol, LDL - kolesterol ve trigliserid düzeyleri anlamlı olarak düşük bulundu. Apoprotein A, apoprotein B, lipoprotein (a) ve HDL - kolesterol değerleri farklı bulunmadı. Hipertiroidik hastalar ötiroid hale geldikten sonra total kolesterol, HDL ve LDL kolesterol düzeyleri anlamlı olarak arttı. Subklinik hipertiroidide tedavi öncesi trigliserid değerleri kontrol grubunun değerlerinden düşük bulundu. Tedavi sonrası total kolesterol, HDL ve LDL kolesterolde artış gözlendi. Çalışmamız sonunda aşikar ve subklinik hipertiroidide tedavi öncesi ve sonrası lipid düzeylerinin etkilendiği saptanmıştır.
Lipid parameters in patients with clinical and subclinical hyperthyroidism before and after the treatment. Lipid parameters are affected by overt hyperthyroidism. Varying results have been obtained from various studies considering these effects in subclinical hyperthyroidism. In this study, we compared lipid parameters of the patients with clinical hyperthyroidism with those of the patients diagnosed as subclinical hyperthyroidism. We reevaluated all these parameters statistically after the patients became euthyroid. In hyperthyroidism, total cholesterol, LDL - cholesterol and triglycéride levels were found significantly lower compared to those of the control group, but there was no significant difference between both groups, considering apolipoproteins A, B, lipoprotein (a) and HDL -cholesterol levels. After the patients became euthyroid, total cholesterol, HDL and LDL- cholesterol levels increased in hyperthyroidism. In subclinical hyperthyroidism, triglycéride level was found lower compared to those of the control group. After the patients becameeuthyroidf total cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol levels increased in subclinical hyperthyroidism. In conclusion, it was found that lipid parameters were influenced by subclinical and overt hyperthyroidism before and after the treatment.
