| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, önemli harita objelerinden biri olan yolların sayısal kartografyadaki gösterim biçimleri incelenmektedir. Yollar ilk olarak kartografik model teorisi açısından ele alınarak, birincil ve ikincil modellerde yol objelerinin yapılan tartışılmaktadır. Büyük ölçekli veri tabanlarında genel olarak yer almayan, ancak işaretleştirme ve mekansal sorgulamalarda önemli rol oynayan yol eksenlerinin elde edilmesindeki yöntemler, yol eksenlerine uygulanacak çizgi temizleme ve basitleştirme işlemleri tanıtılmaktadır. Yol eksenleri üzerinde kurulacak ağ topolojisi hakkında da bilgi verildikten sonra yol objelerinin işaretleştirilmesi ayrıntılı olarak tartışılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, çift çizgili işaret oluşturmada uygulanan üç farklı yaklaşım irdelenerek, bu yaklaşımlardan "gerçek anlamlı çift çizgi yaklaşımı" yapılan uygulama ışığında daha ayrıntılı olarak incelenmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study the visualization techniques of the streets, which are one of the important map objects, has been investigated in the realm of digital cartography. According to cartographic model theory, the structures of streets in primary and secondary models were discussed. The street centerlines that are generally not included in large-scale base maps are important, because they build a basis for symbolization of streets. The topologic queries are also performed on this basis. Hence methods of building, line-cleaning and generalizing of street centerlines were introduced. Having mentioned the network topology, the symbolization of streets in cartographic sense was in detail discussed. Different approaches to symbolization were analyzed, and then a case study that was performed using "real mode double symbolization approach" was introduced, and the results of the case study were discussed. | en_US |
