In this study, in which the Hellenistic period city coins included in the coin collection of Konya Ethnography Museum are mentioned, the city coins kept in the museum warehouse are discussed and classified. As a result of this study, a total of 411 coins belonging to 36 different cities from 14 regions and localized to the Hellenistic period cities in the museum warehouse were discussed within the scope of the thesis. The boundaries of the regions to which these coins belong in the ancient period, when they started minting coins and what types of coins they minted in the Hellenistic period were analyzed. It has been tried to evaluate which mythological character aroused interest in the cities in terms of iconography, and for this purpose, gods and goddesses and mythological characters are handled in alphabetic order. On some of the obverse and the reverse depictions of the city coins, it was seen that the iconographies of which basis are dating back to old times were repeated. This situation should be an indication that the aim of the important cults to be revived or placed in the memory of the people was tried to be achieved by means of coins. Coining is an important issue of prestige and propaganda for the city that minted it. For this reason, it has been a privilege for the city to use the legend of the cities on the coins. The city coins could not maintain their weight when they first appeared, and after the coin type was adopted or when a new type of coin appeared, it was determined that the coin weights were gradually reduced by official means. The coins discussed within the scope of the thesis, 96 types and 101 molds that are different from each other, were determined according to the obverse and the reverse depictions.
