dc.description.abstractThis paper deals with the free convective heat and mass transfer along a vertical wall embedded in a fluid saturated porous medium by using integral method . The governing parameters for the problem are the buoyancy ratio N and Lewis Number Le. The results for the local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are presented for wide range of parameters. The thermal and concentration boundary layer thicknesses have also been calculated for the flow field. It has been observed that the results obtained by integral method are in good agreement with those obtained by Bejan and Khair.en_US
