Özet
Şekil değiştirme çeşitli şekillerde gerçekleşen/gerçekleştirilen dönüşümlere dayalı bir motiftir. Bu motifin görüldüğü anlatı türlerinden biri de efsanelerdir. Efsanelerdeki şekil değiştirme motifinin savaşlar bağlamında ele alındığı bu çalışma, Anadolu sahası Türk efsaneleri arasından seçilen örnek metinlerden hareketle ortaya konulmuştur. İnsanlığın kaderini belirleyen savaş olgusunun şekil değiştirme motifinin biçimlenmesine ne derece katkıda bulunduğunu ortaya koyma amacı taşıyan bu çalışmanın kapsamı ise Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun dağılma sürecinde Birinci Dünya Savaşı öncesi (Osmanlı-Rus Savaşları vb.) ve sonrası Anadolu’da yaşanan (Kurtuluş Savaşı vb.) savaşlarla sınırlı tutulmuştur.
Metamorphism is a motif that depends on transformations. One of the narrative genres in which this motif is seen is legends. In this study, metamorphism motif in the legends is discussed in the context of wars, is presented with the help of the sample texts selected from the Turkish legends of the Anatolian area. This study aims to reveal how the phenomenon of war, which determines the destiny of humanity contributes to the shaping of the metamorphism motif. The scope of this study was limited to the wars that took place in Anatolia (Turkish War of Independence etc.) during the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire before and after the First World War (Ottoman-Russian Wars, etc.)
