Özet
Türk sinemasında Toplumsal Gerçekçilik Akımı, 27 Mayıs İhtilalinin ardından yapılan, 1961 Anayasası'nın getirmiş olduğu toplumsal özgürlüklerle beraber gelişim göstermeye başlamıştır.Toplumsal Gerçekçi Türk sinemasının ilk örneğini 1960 yılında vizyona giren Gecelerin Ötesi adlı filmiyle Metin Erksan vermiştir.Entelektüel kişiliği, bilgi birikimi, toplumsal sorunlara gerçekçi yaklaşımı ve siyasal değişimlere ilgisi, Metin Erksan'ın Gecelerin Ötesi filminin yanı sıra Karanlık Dünya / Âşık Veysel'in Hayatı, Susuz Yaz, Yılanların Öcü, Acı Hayat ve Suçlular Aramızda gibi daha başka Toplumsal Gerçekçi sinema akımı kapsamında sinema eserlerine imza atmasına neden olmuştur. Türk sinemasında birçok ilkleri sinemamıza kazandıran yönetmen Metin Erksan'ın Toplumsal Gerçekçi sinema akımı kapsamında vermiş olduğu eserler çalışmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır.Bu kapsamda, tez çalışmasının birinci bölümünde dünyada ve Türkiye'de sinema akımlarına yer verilmiş, ikinci bölümde, Türkiye'de Toplumsal Gerçekçi sinema akımının doğuş nedenleri ve Metin Erksan sineması detaylı olarak incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise; Metin Erksan'ın yönetmiş olduğu Yılanların Öcü filmi, Toplumsal Gerçekçi sinema akımı ilkeleri doğrultusunda incelenerek; filmin toplumsal çarpıklıklara neden olan konular üzerinde durduğu, toplumsal sorunları konu edindiği, insan ilişkilerinde var olan yozlaşmaları eleştirel olarak işlediği, çekim tekniği, mekan kullanımı ve gerçekçi yaklaşımlara yer verdiği bulgularına ulaşılmış olup; Metin Erksan'ın Toplumsal Gerçekçi sinema akımına uygun filmler yaptığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
In Turkish Cinema, The Social Realism Movement begun it?s development with the social freedom that came with the 1961 Constitution which was formed after the May 27 revolution.The first representative of Social Realism in Turkish Cinema has been Metin Erksan with his film ?Gecelerin Ötesi - Beyond the Nights? that played in 1960.His intellectual and learned personality, his realistic approach to social problems, his interest in political change resulted in other Social Realistic films like ?Karanlık Dünya - Dark World/The Life of Folk Poet Aşık Veysel, Susuz Yaz - Dry Summer, Yılanların Öcü ? Revenge of the Snakes, Acı Hayat ? Bitter Life, Suçlular Aramızda ? The Villains Are Among Us?.The works that the innovative director Metin Erksan filmed within the realm of Social Realism film movement constitute the subject of this study. The first chapter covers the movements in the world cinema and Turkey as well, the second chapter dealt with the reasons of the birth of Social Realistic cinema in Turkey and the filmography of Metin Erksan is studied in detail. The third chapter analyzed Metin Erksan?s film ?Yılanların Öcü ? Revenge of the Snakes? in regard of the principles of Social Realistic film theory, coming to the conclusions that the film dealt with social problems and issues resulting in social deformations, criticized the degenerations present in human relations, further, his shooting technique, his use of places and other formal aspects was found as presenting a realistic approach, thus as a result, it was found that Metin Erksan has shot films conforming to the principles of the Social Realistic cinema movement.
