| dc.description.abstract | Tarih sayfalarında Hititlerden beri yerini koruyan Ereğli'den ilk çağlarda Herekleia Kybistra olarak bahsedilmiştir. Ereğli verimli bir coğrafyada bulunmasından dolayı Hititlere başkentlik yapmış ve birçok medeniyete beşiklik etmiştir. Asurlar, Persler ve Büyük İskender'in bölgedeki hâkimiyetinden sonra Ereğli, Büyük İskender'in varis bırakmadan ölümü üzerine komutan Selevki'nin yurdu olmuştur. Ardından Bergamalılar ve Romalıların egemenliği altında olan kent Bizanslıların hâkimiyetine girmiş 1079 yılında Selçuklu, 1475 yılında Osmanlı Devleti'nce fethedilmiştir. Kentte ilk döneme ait dört kilise tespit edilmiştir. Türklerin bölgedeki hâkimiyeti ile şehirde kentleşmeye dair birçok yenilik yapılmıştır. Bunlar; cami, mescit, tekke, zaviye, mektep, medrese, han, hamam, köprü, çeşme, kervansaray v.b. kurumlardır. Bölgede yerleşik hayatın sağlanması Türkleşip_ İslamlaşması ve şenlendirilmesi için bu gibi kurumlara ihtiyaç vardır. İncelenen dönem itibariyle (1102- 1253) / (1689-1837) yılları arasında Hurufât Defterleri kayıtlarında elde edilen bilgiler ışığında camilere ve mescitlere yapılan atamalar gözden geçirilmiştir. Sosyal ve ticari yapılardan hanlar, çeşmeler, değirmenlere, köprülere, tekke ve zaviyelere, vakıflara değinilip; eğitim kurumlarından yedi mektep, 12 medrese kaydına rastlanmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In history, Ereğli, which holds its own since the time of the Hittites, was called Herekleia Kybistra at the very first ages. Because of Ereğli?s prolific location, it was the capital to the Hittites and the cradle of many civilizations. After the sovereignty of Assyrians, Persians and Alexander the Great, Ereğli became the homeland of Commander Selevki with the death of Alexander the Great without any inheritors. Afterwards, the town which was under the sovereignty of Pergamons and Romans became under the domination of Byzantium and in 1079 and 1475, it was conquered respectively by Seljuk and Ottoman. Four churches that belong to the first period were found in the town. Various innovations were made concerning urbanization in concur with the sovereignty of Turks. These are foundations such as mosques, masjids, dervish lodges, small dervish lodges, schools, madrasasi inns, Turkish baths, bridges, drinking fountains, caravansaries, etc. These foundations are needed to provide permanent life in the region and it is necessary for the region to be turkized and Islamic. In consideration of the period analysed assignments to mosques and masjids are revised in the light of the datas obtained from the type registries between the years (1102- 1253) / (1689-1837). As being social and commercial foundations, inns, drinking fountains, mills, bridges, dervish lodges and small dervish lodges and charitable foundations are mentioned; seven school registries and twelve madrasa registries exist as educational institutions. | en_US |
