| dc.description.abstract | Kültür, insanın ürettiği, bilgi birikimi, gelenek ve sanat temelinde şekillenen bir yapı olup, din olgusu da bu yapının önemli bir bileşenidir. Din temelli kültürel yapılar, göç hareketlerinde önemli sorunlara yol açmış, özellikle son yüzyılda bu sorunlar daha belirgin hale gelmiştir. Başlarda göçmenlerin, toplum tarafından kabul görmesini, kolaylaştıran acıma duygusu, yerini zorunlu olarak milli hislere bırakmıştır. Bu değişime sebebiyet veren en önemli unsur, inanç sistemidir. İnancın, -aynı olsa bile- farklı algılanmasından kaynaklanan bu durum, gittikçe büyüyen ve önlenemez hale gelen bir sorun olmaya başlamıştır. Buradan hareketle göçün kültürel-dini kabul bağlamında incelenmesi esastır. Suriye krizi, göç hareketlerinde inanç algısının rolünü yeniden gündeme getirmiş, 2022'de Ukrayna'da başlayan kriz ise bu algının daha geniş bir coğrafyada farklı bir boyutta tartışılmasına yol açmıştır. Bu çalışmanın ana amacı, göçün inanç sistemleri ve kültürel yapılar üzerindeki etkilerini Suriye ve Ukrayna krizleri üzerinden incelemektir. Bu bağlamda, göçmen, mülteci ve sığınmacıların halk tarafından nasıl algılandığı ve dinin bu süreçteki yeri irdelenmektedir. Söz konusu inceleme, batılı liderlerin söylemleri çerçevesinde somut bir temele oturtulmaya çalışılmıştır. Kültür, inanç ve göç ilişkisine yeterince yer verilmemesi ve Ukrayna krizinin tazeliği nedeniyle literatürdeki boşluğun doldurulmasına mütevazi bir katkı sunmak bu çalışmanın temel hedefidir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Culture is a structure shaped by human production, accumulation of knowledge, tradition, and art, with religion being a significant component of this structure. Religion-based cultural structures have led to major issues in migration movements, with these issues becoming more pronounced, particularly in the last century. Initially, the feeling of compassion, which facilitated the acceptance of migrants by society, has gradually been replaced by a compulsory national sentiment. The primary factor behind this shift is the belief system. This situation, stemming from the different perceptions of belief, even when shared, has increasingly become an uncontrollable and growing problem. From this perspective, it is essential to examine migration in the context of cultural and religious acceptance. The Syrian crisis has brought the role of religious perception in migration movements back into the spotlight, while the crisis that began in Ukraine in 2022 has triggered discussions on this perception across a broader geography and in a different dimension. The main objective of this study is to examine the impacts of migration on belief systems and cultural structures through the cases of the Syrian and Ukrainian crises. In this context, the study explores how migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers are perceived by the public and the role of religion in these processes. This examination is grounded in the discourses of Western leaders, aiming to provide a concrete foundation. Given the insufficient focus on the relationship between culture, religion, and migration and the recent nature of the Ukraine crisis, the primary goal of this study is to offer a modest contribution to filling the gap in the literature. | |
