Özet
Abstract We planned to investigate the association of enzyme activities of MMP-9 in essential hypertensive patients. For this reason, 120 patients with hypertension and 54 control group recruited in this study. Serum MMP-9 enzyme level determinated from these peripheral blood samples by using Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay. (ELİSA) The results were evaluated by using statistical analyses. The enzyme activity of MMP-9 increased in patients. Finally, we can say that determining of MMP-9 enzyme levels is effective on the hypertension
