| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, 9. Sınıf öğrencilerinin coğrafya dersindeki başarılarında geleneksel yöntemin yanı sıra animasyonların ve gösterimlerin de ne derecede katkı yapacağının etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırma, 2007-2008 öğretim yılının II. yarıyılında, Konya İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı Meram ilçesi Muhittin Güzelkılınç Lisesi'nin 9. sınıf öğrencileri üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Ön test uygulaması yapılan iki sınıftan puan ortalamaları birbirine en yakın olan sınıflar örnekleme alınmış; hangi sınıfın deney grubu, hangi sınıfın kontrol grubu olacağı random atamayla belirlenmiştir. Buna göre 9-D sınıfın deney sınıf grubunu, 9-F ise kontrol grubunu oluşturmuştur. Alt problemlerde ifade edilen durumlara ilişkin istatistiksel analizler SPSS v.16 for Windows paket programında gerçekleştirilmiş ve aşağıdaki bulgular elde edilmiştir. 1. Kontrol grubunun ön test-son test sonuçları karşılaştırıldığında kontrol grubunun son testi lehine anlamlı bir faklılık bulunmuştur. 2. Deney grubunun ön test-son test sonuçlarını karşılaştırıldığında deney grubunun son testi lehine anlamlı bir faklılık bulunmuştur. 3. Deney ve kontrol grubu son test sonuçları karşılaştırıldığında deney grubundaki öğrencilerin daha büyük bir gelişme kaydettiği görülmüştür. Bu sonuç coğrafya öğretiminde animasyon kullanımının öğrencilerin başarılarını arttırdığını ortaya koymuştur. Yapılan çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre çalışma sonunda araştırmayla ilgili çeşitli öneriler verilmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, we aimed to investigate to what extent animations and demonstrations along with traditional method contribute to the achievement of the ninth grade students in Geography lesson. The study was carried out on the ninth grade students of Muhittin Güzelkılınç High School, Meram, Konya, during the second term of 2007-2008 education year. Two classes, whose average scores of pre-tests were most similar, were included in the study and the control and the experiment groups were determined randomly. The statistical analyses of the data were performed through SPSSv.16 for Windows pack program and the following findings were achieved: 1. As a result of the comparison of the pre and post test scores of the students in the control group, the post test scores of the students were found to have changed positively. 2. Similarly, when the pre and post test scores of the students in the experiment group were compared, the post test scores of the students were also found to have changed positively. 3. As a result of the comparison of the post test scores of both groups, the students in the experiment group were found to have improved much better. In view of these findings, several recommendations were made for further studies. | en_US |
