| dc.description.abstract | This very study of us about the Literary Personality and works of Arif, of whom we could tell the fact that he lived in the second half of 14th c. and in the first half of 15th c., just referring to the copyright-dates of his Works, aims at putting forward the correct place of the poet in Turkish Literature as well as the nature of his works. Through this study, six Meshevîes, i.e. the poems com posed in rhymed couplets, and six poems in conventional forms have been arranged in transcribed texts, and all of them have been subjected to a thorough analysis. In our Literary examination, the »pirst chapter" under the heading of »The Life, works and Literary characteristics of Arif" takes the second place just after the "Introduction part" in which the Mesnevîes jif 15th c. are presented to be typical examples of the period. In this chapter, taking a start from the examples of the poetic works of the poem, the analytic studies and searchs committed in the recent-period with which his name is referred are introduced under the tüle of "His- Life"» Following it, the copies of all works of Arif, the metrical arrangements and explanotary summaries of them, are presented; and then their formal and contextual charac teristics are discussed in detail under the title of "Analysis of his works". in the next Chapter, having the title of "His Literary 1002 personality", the points and considerations on the "Theme» are pointed out in the general Lines. Berause, all infor mations and evaluations regarding the form and the context are actually intended to put forward the literary persona lity of the poet. Additionally, such points as »Literary Arts», »proverbs and Idioms» are dealt with, too in this part, pinally, in the »conclusion» Chapter, the facts we have found firmly out about the works and personality of Arif are listed item by item. The »second chapter» of our study consists of the »Transcribed Text», »Bibliography» and »Index» sections. In referring to the texts, the common and traditional scientific Turkish transcription Alphabet is used, and the equivalents of the differently -used marks and references are expressed within the footnotes, comparison of only three copies belonging to the first two mesnevîes of the poet could be made, for çthe copies of others are missing. o Only the works noted in the footnote could be included in the bibliography. And the Indexes are grauped under three headings, as »person Names» »"works Names» and »Place Names". | en_US |
