Özet
Şiddet olgusu, kadınlar dâhil tüm insanları ilgilendiren toplumsal bir sorundur. Kadına yönelik şiddetin yaygın olmasına rağmen bu sorunu çok geç ele alınıp incelenmeye başlamıştır. Batıda 1970'li yılların başında araştırmalar sürülmüş iken Türkiye'de ise 1980'li yılların sonunda araştırmalar başlamıştır. Kadına yönelik şiddetle mücadele konusunda Türk Ceza Kanunu'nda var olan düzenlemeler önemli rol almasıyla birlikte, bu konu hakkında özel düzenleme olan 6284 sayılı Ailenin Korunması ve Kadına Karşı Şiddetin Önlenmesine Dair Kanun ile şiddet gören ya da görme ihtimali bulunan kadınlara yönelik birçok alanda olumlu gelişmeler bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada kadına yönelik şiddet konusunda TCK'da yer alan düzenlemenin rolü tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. 6284 sayılı Ailenin Korunması ve Kadına Karşı Şiddetin Önlenmesine Dair Kanunla getirilen düzenlemeleri değerlendirerek çözüm üretmeye ve sorunlara cevap vermeye çalışılmıştır.
Violence is a social problem that concerns all people, including women. Although violence against women is widespread, this problem has been discussed too late. İn West violence against women has become a subject of research at the beginning of the 1970s, research began in Turkey at the end of the 1980s. Although the existing regulations in the Turkish Penal Code play an important role in combating violence against women, there are positive developments in many areas for women who are or are likely to experience violence with the Law No. 6284 on the Protection of the Family and the Prevention of Violence Against Women, there are positive developments in many areas for women who are likely to experience violence. In this study, the role of the regulation in the Turkish Penal Code in preventing violence against women was tried to be determined. It has been tried to develop solutions and answer the problems by evaluating the regulations introduced by Law No. 6284 on the Protection of the Family and Prevention of Violence Against Women.
