| dc.description.abstract | Edebiyat, bilhassa roman, geçmişten günümüze var olduğu dönemin sosyal, siyasal şartları, yazarın görüşleri ve ülke gerçeklerini yansıtma noktasında tartışılmaz bir öneme sahiptir. Bu sebeple edebiyat çalışmalarında belli dönemlere ve ülkelere ait eserlerde yapılacak karşılaştırma yoluyla ortak konulara yazarların yaklaşımı ve sosyal yaşamda gözlenmesi noktasında farklılık ve benzerlikleri belirlemek mümkündür. Türkiye'de Tanzimat ile başlayan; Mısır'da ise Napolyon'un işgali ile başlayıp sonrasında Mehmet Ali Paşa'nın yoğun çabaları ile devam eden batılılaşma serüveni ve modernleşmeye bağlı etkiler bu dönem kaleme alınan pek çok romanda açıkça gözlemlenebilmektedir. Mısır ve Türk romanlarında benzer temaları işleyen iki romanın karşılaştırılması ile bu ortak döneme yazarların bakışı ve toplumdaki görüntülerine dair fikir edinilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Öncelikle çalışmanın kapsamında kalmak amacıyla iki ülke edebiyatının tümündeki tema gelişim süreçlerine girmeden yalnızca roman türü özelinde farklılaşan temalara değinilmiştir. Daha sonra Mısır romanından bir örnek olarak Taha Huseyn' in Edip romanı ile Modern Türk Edebiyatından bir örnek olarak Sabahattin Ali'nin İçimizdeki Şeytan adlı romanlarının; modernleşme, ahlaki bozulma, bireyin iç çatışması, kadın ve aile gibi ortak tema başlıkları altında karşılaştırması yapılmış ve ilgili yerlerde eserlerden yapılan alıntılara yer verilmiştir. Son bölümde ise yapılan incelemeye dair görüşler ve elde edilen sonuçlar ifade edilmeye çalışılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Literature, especially the novel, has an indisputable importance in terms of reflecting the social and political conditions of the period in which it existed from the past to the present, the views of the author and the realities of the country. For this reason, it is possible to determine the differences and similarities in the approach of the authors to the common subjects and their observations in social life by comparing the works of certain periods and countries in literary studies. Starting with the Tanzimat in Turkey; In Egypt, the adventure of westernization and the effects of modernization, which started with the invasion of Napoleon and continued with the intense efforts of Mehmet Ali Pasha, can be clearly observed in many novels written during this period. By comparing the two novels with similar themes in Egyptian and Turkish novels, it is aimed to gain an idea about the view of the authors and their images in the society. First of all, in order to stay within the scope of the study, only the themes that differ in the genre of novels are mentioned without going into the theme development processes in all of the literature of the two countries. Then, as an example from the Egyptian novel, Taha Huseyn's novel Edîb and as an example from Modern Turkish Literature, Sabahattin Ali's novels titled "İçimizdeki Şeytan"; Comparisons were made under common themes such as modernization, moral deterioration, internal conflict of the individual, women and family, and quotations from the works were included in the relevant places. In the last part, opinions about the examination and the results obtained are tried to be expressed. | |
