Lise Öğrencilerine Uygulanan Bilinçli Farkındalık Eğitim Programının Sürekli Öfke ve Öfke İfade Tarzına Etkisi

Özet
Bu çalışma, lise öğrencilerine uygulanan bilinçli farkındalık eğitim programının, öğrencilerin
sürekli öfke düzeyi ve öfke ifade tarzına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu araştırma ön test
son test deseninde tasarlanmış randomize kontrollü bir çalışmadır. Araştırma Konya ilinin Selçuklu
ilçesinde yer alan Selahaddin Eyyubi Anadolu Lisesinde dokuzuncu sınıfta öğrenim gören, sürekli
öfkesi yüksek olan 52 öğrenci (müdahale:26, kontrol:26) ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin
toplanmasında Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Sürekli Öfke ve Öfke İfade Tarzı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Müdahale
grubundaki öğrencilere altı hafta boyunca, haftada bir ders saati (40 dk) olmak üzere Bilinçli Farkındalık
Eğitimi verilmiştir. Kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere herhangi bir girişim uygulanmamıştır. Verilerin
değerlendirilmesinde; bağımsız gruplarda t testi, Wilcoxon analizi ve ki-kare analizi yöntemleri
kullanılmıştır.
Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, Bilinçli Farkındalık Eğitimi’nin öğrencilerin sürekli
öfke ve öfke ifade tarzları üzerine olumlu etkileri olmuştur. Eğitim sonrası müdahale grubundaki
öğrencilerin Sürekli Öfke puan ortalamasında anlamlı azalma olduğu saptanırken (p<0,05), kontrol
grubundaki öğrencilerin iki ölçümden elde edilen Sürekli Öfke puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı fark
olmadığı görülmüştür (p>0,05). Müdahale grubundaki öğrencilerde İçe Yönelik Öfke ve Dışa Yönelik
Öfke puan ortalaması Bilinçli Farkındalık eğitimi sonrasında anlamlı derecede azalma gösterirken
kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerde ise anlamlı derecede arttığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. (p<0,05). Müdahale
öncesinde iki grubun Öfke Kontrol puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı fark yokken müdahale sonrası
müdahale grubunun Öfke Kontrol puan ortalamasının arttığı ve iki grup arasında istatistiksel olarak
anlamlı fark oluştuğu bulunmuştur (p<0,05).
Bu çalışmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda, Bilinçli Farkındalık Eğitim Programının lise
öğrencilerinin sürekli öfkesini azaltan ve öfke ifade becerilerini geliştirmesine yardımcı olan etkili bir
müdahale olduğu ifade edilebilir.
This study was conducted to determine the effect of the mindfulness training program applied to high school students on the students' trait anger level and anger expression style. This research is a randomized controlled study designed in a pre-test post-test design. The research was carried out with 52 students (intervention: 26, control: 26) who were in the ninth grade of Selahaddin Eyyubi Anatolian High School located in Selçuklu district of Konya province and who were constantly angry. Personal Information Form, Trait Anger and Anger Expression Style Scale were used to collect data. Conscious Awareness Training was given to the students in the intervention group for six weeks, once a week (40 minutes). No intervention was applied to the students in the control group. In the evaluation of the data; t test, Wilcoxon analysis and chi-square analysis methods were used in independent groups. In the evaluation of the data; t test, Wilcoxon analysis and chi-square analysis methods were used in independent groups. According to the findings obtained from the study, Mindfulness Training had positive effects on students' trait anger and anger expression styles. While it was determined that there was a significant decrease in the Trait Anger score averages of the students in the intervention group after the training (p<0.05), it was observed that there was no significant difference between the Trait Anger score averages of the students in the control group obtained from the two measures (p>0.05). While the mean scores of Anger-In and Anger-External in the students in the intervention group decreased significantly after Mindful Awareness training, it was found that it increased significantly in the students in the control group. (p<0.05). While there was no significant difference between the Anger Control mean scores of the two groups before the intervention, it was found that the Anger Control mean score of the intervention group increased after the intervention and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05). In line with the results of this study, it can be stated that the Mindfulness Training Program is an effective intervention that reduces the trait anger of high school students and helps them to improve their anger expression skills.
