Özet
Günümüzde teknoloji, internet ve bilişim otomasyonunun önemli bir parçası olan
bilgisayar tabanlı paket programlar büyük bir hızla gelişmektedir. Hemen her sektör
ve kurumda bu gelişmeler büyük faydalar sağlamaktadır. İşletme yöneticileri ve
çalışanlar bu gelişmelerden farklı seviyelerde faydalanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda
muhasebe meslek mensupları için teknoloji, internet ve bilişim otomasyonunun
sağladığı avantajlarla birlikte dezavantajlar da bulunmaktadır. Bilişim otomasyonunun
önemli bir parçası olan bilgisayar tabanlı muhasebe paket programları sayesinde
muhasebe işlemlerinde özellikle veri elde etme, kaydetme, depolama ve aktarma gibi
uygulamalarda büyük kolaylıklar sağlamaktadır. Ancak bilişim teknolojilerinin
sağladığı kolaylıklarla birlikte ek maliyet ve iş yükü gibi sorumluluklar da artmaktadır.
Bu bağlamda çalışmamızda bilişim otomasyonunun önemli bir parçası olan muhasebe
paket programlarının mesleki açıdan avantaj ve dezavantajlarının mesleki gelişim
açısında etkileri ve işletme verimliliğine katkıları araştırılmıştır. Muhasebe meslek
çalışanlarını kapsayan çalışmamızda; çalışanların bilişim teknolojilerinden
faydalanma düzeylerinin tespiti ve muhasebe paket programlarının mesleki
uygulamalarda sağladığı kolaylıklarla birlikte ek maliyet ve iş yükü açısından, ayrıca
bu uygulamaların zaman ve hizmet kalitesi açısından işletme verimliliğine etkilerinin
değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Today, computer-based package programs, which are an important part of technology, internet and information automation, are developing at a great pace. These developments provide great benefits in almost every sector and institution. Business managers and employees benefit from these developments at different levels. In this context, there are disadvantages as well as advantages of technology, internet and information automation for accountants. Thanks to computer-based accounting package programs, which are an important part of information automation, it provides great convenience in accounting processes, especially in applications such as data acquisition, recording, storage and transfer. However, responsibilities such as additional costs and workload increase with the conveniences provided by information technologies. In this context, in our study, the effects of professional advantages and disadvantages of accounting package programs, which are an important part of information automation, in terms of professional development and their contribution to business efficiency have been investigated.In our study involving accounting professionals; It is aimed to determine the level of use of information technologies by employees and to evaluate the effects of accounting package programs on operational efficiency in terms of additional cost and workload, as well as the convenience of accounting package programs in professional applications.
