Özet
ÖZET Kerkük, asırlardır Türklerin yaşadığı bölgelerden biridir. Bölgede varlık gösteren Türkmen toplumu, geçmişten miras olarak aldığı kültürlerini korumak, yaşatmak ve geleceğe aktarmak için çaba göstermektedir. Gösterilen çabanın göstergelerinden biri olan bu çalışmada, Kerkük Türkmenlerinin geçiş dönemleriyle ilgili inanç ve uygulamalar yanında düğün, kına gecesi gibi törenlerde söylenen türküler ele alınmıştır. Araştırmanın giriş bölümünde Kerkük kenti ile ilgili başta tarihi olmak üzere, coğrafi, demografik, ekonomik yapısı vb. hakkında genel bilgiler yer almaktadır. Birinci bölümde geçiş dönemlerinden doğum, evlenme ve ölüm aşamalarında uygulanan pratikler üzerinde durulmuştur. Bölgeden derlenen veriler ortaya konulurken Türkiye sahasıyla sınırlı kalınmayarak Türk dünyasının muhtelif bölgelerindeki benzer uygulamalara da değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Kerkük düğün/kına gecesi türküleri incelenme konusu yapılırken üçüncü bölümünde ise söz konusu türkülerin metinleri verilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuç kısmında, elde edilen bilgilerden yola çıkılarak; âdet, gelenek ve göreneklerin halen canlılığını koruyup korumadığı, yaşatılıp yaşatılmadığı üzerine durum tespitinde bulunulmuştur.
The Turkmen community, which is present in the region, strives to preserve, keep alive and transfer the cultures inherited from the past to the future. In this study, the beliefs and practices of Kirkuk Turkmens related to the transition periods, as well as the folk songs sung in ceremonies such as weddings and henna nights are discussed. In the introductory part of the research, especially the historical, geographical, demographic, economic structure etc. about the city of Kirkuk. It contains general information about. In the first part, the practices applied in the transitional stages of birth, marriage and death are emphasized. While presenting the data compiled from the region, similar practices in various regions of the Turkish world were also mentioned, not being limited to the field of Turkey. In the second part, Kirkuk wedding/henna night folk songs were examined. In the third part, the texts of the mentioned folk songs are given. In the conclusion part of the research; The situation has been determined on whether the customs, traditions and customs still preserve their vitality and whether they are kept alive or not.
