Özet
Yaşanılan zamana göre yeni yerleşim biçimleri değişim göstermektedir. Yükselen tasarım eğilimlerinden güvenlikli-kapılı siteler postmodernizmin yansıması, yeni kentleşme hareketinin bir açılımı olarak düşünülmektedir. Bu kapılı siteler Dünya'da ve Türkiye'nin büyük metropoliten alanlarında görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, kapılı sitelerin literatürdeki yeri, yarattığı etkileri, Dünya'daki ve Türkiye'deki örnekleri incelenmektedir. Bu kapsamda Konya'nın farklı ilçelerinde rasgele seçilmiş; Beyzade ve Mavi Palmiye Sitelerinde anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Kapalı sitelerde yaşamayı tercih sebeplerini, site içindeki yaşamlarını ölçmeye yönelik sorular sorulmuştur. Anket çalışması değerlendirilerek literatürle saha araştırmasının tutarlılığı ölçülmüştür. Literatürdeki kapalı sitelerde yaşamayı tercih edenler; ? Beyaz yakalı, orta-üst ve üst sınıf mensubu, yüksek eğitimli, aile odaklı, mahremiyete önem veren kişilerdir ? tanımıyla uyum göstermektedir. Akademisyenlerin kapılı sitelere karşı bakış açılarının belirtilmesi, kapalı site yaklaşımının postmodern planlama ilkeleriyle tutarlılığı, kente etkileri ve geleceğe yönelik plan yapılırken dikkat edilmesi gerekenlerin açıklanması ile sonuçlandırılmıştır.
New residential models indicates lots of varitions according to the age guard-gated communities which are rising design tendencies are thought the reflection of postmodernism and as an expansion of new urbanism movement such gated communities are seen in the world and also in Turkey?s metropolitan areas. In this study, the significance of gated communities inliterature, its effects, its samples in Turkey and World are examined to this extent, in Konya?s different districts in Beyzade and Mavi Palmiye Communities which are chosen haphazardly, this study survey is done. Questions which are inclined to measure for the reasons of preference of dwelling in gated communities and their daily-life in the community are questioned with the evaluation of survey study, the consistency of fieldwork with literature is measured in the literature, the people who prefer living in the gated communities overlaps with the meaning of white collar emploee, middle-upper and upper class belonging, high educated, family centered, the people who give importance to privacy. This study concluded with the implication of academics views approaches to gated communities with the prenciples of postmodern planning, its effect to city and with the explanation of the things which are necessary for future planning.
