Abstract
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı iki farklı kürleme modunda kürlenen iki farklı bulk fill kompozit rezinin, 1 hafta boyunca distile su, şarap ve kahvede bekletilmesiyle meydana gelen renk değişimlerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç-Yöntemler: Bu çalışmada A2 renginde iki farklı bulk fill kompozit rezin kullanıldı: Sonic Fill 2 (SF) (Kerr, ABD) ve Filtek Bulk Fill (FBF) (3M ESPE, ABD). Örnekler 5 mm çapında, 2 mm kalınlığında bir teflon kalıp kullanılarak hazırlandı. Örnekler bir LED ışık cihazı (VALO Ultradent, South Jordan, UT) ile iki farklı kürleme modunda (standart güç modu-1000 mw/cm²-20 sn ve ekstra güç modu 3200 mw/cm²-3 sn) kürlenerek toplam 60 numune hazırlandı. Renklendirme işlemlerine başlamadan önce örneklerin renk değerleri spektrofotometre (VITA Easyshade V, VITA Zahnfabrik, Almanya) kullanılarak ölçüldü. Ardından örnekler, üç farklı sıvıda 1 hafta boyunca bekletildi. Renklendirme işlemleri tamamlandıktan 24 saat sonra renk ölçümü tekrarlandı. Renk değişimi değerlendirmesi CIEDE2000 formülü kullanılarak yapıldı. Çalışmada elde edilen veriler SPSS Windows 25.0 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) programı kullanılarak analiz edildi. Anlamlılık düzeyi p<0.05 olarak kabul edildi. Bulgular: Bütün gruplar arasında en fazla renk değişikliği ekstra güç modunda polimerize edilip şarapta bekletilen FBF örneklerinde, en az renk değişikliği ise standart güç modunda polimerize edilip distile suda bekletilen SF2 örneklerinde meydana geldi. Bulk fill kompozit rezinlerin her iki kürleme modunda kürlenen örneklerinde de en yüksek renk değişimi şarapta bekletilen örneklerde meydana geldi (p<0.05). Sonuç: Bu çalışmada farklı kürleme modlarının ve farklı içeceklerin bulk fill kompozit rezinlerin renklenmesinde etkili olduğu görüldü.
Background: The aim of this study is to evaluate the color changes that occur when two different bulk fill composite resins cured in two different curing modes are kept in distilled water, wine and coffee for 1 week. Methods: Two different bulk fill composite resins in A2 color were used in this study: Sonic Fill 2 (SF) (Kerr, USA) and Filtek Bulk Fill (FBF) (3M ESPE, USA). Samples were prepared using a teflon mold with a diameter of 5 mm and a thickness of 2 mm. A total of 60 samples were prepared by curing the samples with an LED light device (VALO Ultradent, South Jordan, UT) in two different curing modes (standard power mode-1000 mw/cm²-20 sec and extra power mode 3200 mw/cm²-3 sec). Before starting the coloring processes, the color values of the samples were measured using a spectrophotometer (VITA Easyshade V, VITA Zahnfabrik, Germany). The samples were then kept in three different liquids for 1 week. Color measurements were repeated 24 hours after the coloring procedures were completed. Color change assessment was made using the CIEDE2000 formula. The data obtained in the research were analyzed using the SPSS Windows 25.0 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) program. Significance level was accepted as p<0.05. Results: Among all groups, the highest color change occurred in FBF samples polymerized in extra power mode and kept in wine, and the least color change occurred in SF2 samples polymerized in standard power mode and kept in distilled water. The highest color change in samples of bulk fill composite resins cured in both curing modes occurred in samples kept in wine. Conclusion: In this study, it was observed that different curing modes and different beverages were effective in the coloring of bulk fill composite resins.
