Özet
Azerbaycan müziği Azerbaycan kültürünün bir kolu olup Azerbaycan milli
folklorunu temsil eden halk tarafından ya da çeşitli Azerbaycan bestecileri tarafından
kurulmuş farklı türde müziklerden oluşmaktadır. Azerbaycan müziğinin yüzlerce
yıllık bir gelişim süreci vardır. Kökleri asırlar öncesine dayanmaktadır. Çok eski
zamanlardan; Gobustan kaya üstü resimlerinden başlayarak Azerbaycan’da melodi
ve ritim zenginliği ile bilinen çok sayıda şarkı, çeşitli danslar, hatta çobanların
çaldıkları ritimli düdükleri görmek mümkündür.
Azerbaycan Cumhuriyeti’nin 1990’da bağımsızlığından sonra ulusal kimliğin
ve sanatın gelişmesinde yeni bir aşamaya geçilmiştir. Sanatçılar kendi kültürlerinden
beslenerek modern resimler yapmaya başlamışlardır. Araştırma kapsamının bir kolu
olarak müzik olgusunu resimlerinde duygu veya biçim olarak vermiş olan
Azerbaycan sanatçıları incelenmiş; müzik konusunu çalışmalarına aktarmalarındaki
istikrarları nedeniyle de Ağali İbrahimov, Asef Ceferov, Assim Resuloğlu, Bayram
Salamov, Mikayil Abdullayev, Sakit Memmedov, Tahir Salahov, Toğrul
Nerimanbeyov ve Zakir Hüseynov’un eser örnekleri incelenmiştir. Değerlendirme

neticesinde söz konusu sanatçıların eserlerinde görülen müzik temasına ait
yorumlamaların bazen kültürel anlamları ile bazen de plastik
bir ifade aracı olarak ele alındığı görülmüştür. Genel tarama modelinin esas alındığı
araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntem ve teknikleri kullanılmıştır.
Azerbaijani music is a branch of Azerbaijani culture and consists of different types of music which are formed by the people who represent the national folklore of Azerbaijan or established by various Azerbaijani composers. Azerbaijan music has hundreds of years of development. Its roots extend deep into the centuries. From ancient times - from Gobustan rock painting - it is possible to see many songs, various dances, and even the rhythm whistles that are known by the shepherds in Azerbaijan. After the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1990, a new phase has begun in the development of national identity and art. The artists started to produce modern paintings by feeding from their own cultures. As a branch of the research, Azerbaijani artists who gave the phenomenon of music as feelings or form in their paintings were examined; due to their stability in transferring the music subject to their work, the works of Ağali İbrahimov, Asef Ceferov, Assim Resuloğlu, Bayram Salamov, Mikayil Abdullayev, Sakit Memmedov, Tahir Salahov, Toğrul Nerimanbeyov and Zakir Hüseynov were examined. As a result of the evaluation, the interpretations of the music theme seen in the works of the said artists were sometimes considered as cultural means and vii sometimes as a means of plastic expression. Qualitative research methods and techniques were used in the research which is based on the general screening model.
