Özet
Poetry journals are one of the important sources for Classic Turkish Literature. Poems of many poets who do not have a diwan (collected poems) can be found in the journals. Moreover, one can encounter in these journals the poems of poets, who have a diwan, which were written by them after compiling their diwans or excluded from these diwans for various reasons. Poetry journals, and imitative poetry (nazira) journals in particular, enable us to see better who was influenced by whom and to what extent, who was the master or the teacher, and shortly, the journey of Classic Turkish Poetry in time. The present study deals with a poetry journal which we think will contribute to the history of literature both in the above points we have tried to highlight and in other topics. Having been compiled by the poet and scribe Liwai in 965 AH / 1557 AD, this journal is registered and stored in the Turkish Manuscripts Division No. 182 of the Egyptian National Library and Archives. This miscellany, which can be regarded as a journal of selected imitative poems, is made available to the researchers in a table complying with the Systematic Classification Project of Journals (MESTAP)(2).
