Özet
Bir ülkenin kalkınmasında turizm sektörünün öneminden ve sektörün payında söz edebilmemiz, turizmin ekonomik etkilerinin ölçülmesiyle mümkün olabilecektir. Turizm ülkelerin gelişme çabalarına paralel ve onun bir uzantısı olarak, birinci derecede önem verilen bir sektör haline gelmiştir. Turizm sektörüne, daha önceki yıllardan itibaren gereken önem ve önceliği veren ülkelerde, bu faaliyet kolunun milli gelir ve ödemeler dengesine sağladığı yararlar, pek çok ülkeyi, turizm sektörünün gelişmesi için yeni imkanlar yaratmaya zorlamıştır. Gelişmekte olan ülke olan Türkiye'mizde ülkelerin bu derece ilgisini çeken, karşılaşılan ekonomik sorunların hafifletilmesinde ve dar boğazların aşılmasında bir ekonomik politika aracı olarak kabul edilen turizm, yarattığı ekonomik etkilerini genelde ve Türkiye düzeyinde araştırılması bu çalışmanın temel amacını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, turizmin sosyal, kültürel ve politik fonksiyonlarını bir kenara atarak, sadece ekonomik etkileri incelenecek. Araştırmada turizm olayının sektörel özellikleri dikkate alınarak, turizmin ekonomik etkilerine değinilecek ve ekonomide yaratılan parasal ve reel etkiler ayrı ayrı incelenecektir. Ayrıca, turizm olayının mevcut gelişimini dikkate alınarak, makro açıdan turizm sektörünün yapısal özelliklerinin ülke ekonomisine yansıması üzerinde durulmuştur.
To mention the importance at tourism and the share of this sector in the progress of a country will be possible to measure the economical effects of tourism. Tourism has become a primary important sector which is paralled and extended to the countries eforts of development. In the countries which have given the necessary importance to the tourism sector in the previous years have seen the advantages of this field of activity to the national income and balance of payments forced many countries to develop new possibilies to the development of tourism sector. In our Turkey which is a developing country, tourism which is attracted so much by the countries and used as an economical political means in relieting the economical problems and to overcome the difficulties, the investigation of economical effects of tourism in general and at the level of Turkey have been the basic purpose of this study. In this study, the social, cultural and political functions of tourism have been dismissed and only the economical effects are studied. In this research, by taking into consideration the sectoral peculiarities of touism and by touching the economical effects of tourism the monetary and reel effects developed in the economics have been studied separately. In addition, taking into consideration of the present development of tourism, the constructive peculiarities of tourism sector from the macro point of view have been studied on the reflection the countries economics.
