Özet
İçkin ve Aşkın olan Allah'ın varlığı kâinatın her zerresinde tecelli etmektedir. O her şeyden münezzehtir. Aşkın olan Ruh insanda sırlanmıştır. İnsan, âlemin incelikli ruhudur. Mistik mana içerikli eserlerdeki sembolik anlam ve imgelemsel seyir pozitif manada kişiye incelikli ruhun ilminin kapılarını açmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Mevlâna Celaleddin Rumi ve Ralph Waldo Emerson'ın eserleri ve düşünceleri, anlamsal içerik bakımından incelenmiştir. Eserleri doğrultusunda Tasavvuf ve Transandantalizm karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Felsefi düşünce sistemi ve dilsel ifadeleri örneklerle desteklenmiştir. Her iki düşünürün de eserlerinin, mistik ve felsefi unsurlarının, ifade edilmesi istenen mana bakımından birbirlerine yakın oldukları görülmektedir. Eserlerindeki imgelem gücü hem toplumsal hem bireysel alana yönelik sağlam temelli eğitici bir etki sağlamaktadır.
The existence of Allah, who is both immanent and (exalted) transcendental, is manifested in each particle of the universe. There is nothing like unto Him. The Over-Soul (The Transcendental Spirit) is hidden in humanity. Humanity is the subtle soul of the universe. The symbolic meaning and imaginative observation of the works with mystical content lead the one to the knowledge of the subtle soul positively. In this study, the works and thoughts of Mevlâna Jelaluddin Rumi and Ralph Waldo Emerson were scrutinized in terms of their meaningful content. Tasawwuf (Sufism) and Transcendentalism were evaluated comparatively in accordance with their works. Their philosophical thought systems and expressions were supported with given structures. It is clearly seen that the works of both thinkers resemble each other with regards to the meaning, which is intended to express mystical and philosophical elements. The power of imagery in their works leave indelible didactical impressions to both social and individual elements.
