| dc.description.abstract | Afyonkarahisar, Phrygia coğrafyasının sınırları içerisinde kalan önemli yerleşim yeridir. Neolitik çağlardan günümüze kadar yerleşim yeri olarak kullanılmıştır. Bulunduğu coğrafi konumdan dolayı önemli bir yerleşim yeri olması buranın birçok kültürü, inancı ve geleneği içerisinde taşıması ile önemli bir medeniyet sentezi yaratmıştır. Bu tez kapsamında Afyon Müzesi'nde bulunan Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi'ne ait adak heykelcikleri ele alınmıştır. Eserler belirli tipoloji ve stil özelliklerine göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Değerlendirme içerisinde eserler belirlenirken ya da çalışması yapılırken tanrı, tanrıça, erkek figürü ve hayvan heykelcikleri olarak kapsam içerisinde tutulmuş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Heykelcikler için belirlenen tipolojik ve stil özellikleri ile birlikte ikonografik değerlendirilmeler ışığında bölgedeki ya da yerleşim yerindeki inanç yapısını ve adak kültürünü belirlemektir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Afyonkarahisar is an important settlement within the borders of Phrygia. It has been used as a settlement from the Neolithic ages until today. Because Afyonkarahisar is an important settlement due to its geographical location, it has created an important civilization synthesis with its many cultures, beliefs and traditions. In this thesis, votive figurines which belong to the Roman Imperial period in Afyon Museum were discussed.The works are classified according to their specific typology and style characteristics. While works were selected or studied during the evaluation, they were evaluated and included in the context of the gods, goddesses, male figurines and animal figurines. In the light of iconographic evaluations in addition to the typological and style characteristics determined for statuettes, the belief structure and votive culture in the region or settlement region were identified. | en_US |
