Özet
Bu araştırmada, Beery-Buktenica Gelişimsel Görsel-Motor Koordinasyon Testi-6'nın Türkçe'ye Uyarlanması ve 36-70 aylık çocukların görsel-motor koordinasyonlarının çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma Nevşehir il merkezi ve Avanos ilçesinde bulunan resmi-özel anaokulu ve anasınıflarına devam eden tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 387 çocuk üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada çocuklar hakkında kişisel bilgileri edinmek amacıyla "Genel Bilgi Formu" ve çocukların görsel-motor koordinasyonunun incelenmesi amacıyla "Beery-Buktenica Gelişimsel Görsel Motor Koordinasyon Testi-6", ek testleri olan "Görsel Algı" ve "Motor Koordinasyon" testleri kullanılmıştır. Testlerden elde edilen verilerin analizinde "t-testi" ve "F Testi" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular aşağıda özetlenmiştir: ● Beey-Buktenica Gelişimsel Görsel- Motor Koordinasyon Testi-6 ve ek testleri olan görsel algı ve motor koordinasyon testleri 36-70 aylık çocuklar için güvenilirdir. ● Beey-Buktenica Gelişimsel Görsel- Motor Koordinasyon Testi-6 ve ek testleri olan görsel algı ve motor koordinasyon testleri 36-70 aylık çocuklar için geçerlidir. ● Araştırmaya katılan çocukların görsel-motor koordinasyon, görsel algı ve motor koordinasyon puanlarının cinsiyete göre farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür. ● Araştırmaya göre, 36-70 aylık çocukların görsel-motor koordinasyon, görsel algı ve motor koordinasyon puanlarının yaşa göre farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir. ● 36-70 aylık çocukların görsel-motor koordinasyon, görsel algı ve motor koordinasyon beceri puanları anne ve baba öğrenim durumlarına göre incelendiğinde çocukların her üç testten de aldıkları puanların anne ve baba eğitim durumundan etkilenmediği ortaya konulmuştur. ● Anne gelirine göre 36-70 aylık çocukların görsel-motor koordinasyon, görsel algı ve motor koordinasyon beceri puanları incelendiğinde; çocukların görsel-motor koordinasyon beceri puanlarının anne gelirine göre farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Görsel algı ve motor koordinasyon puanlarının ise anne gelirine göre değişmediği belirlenmiştir. ● Baba geliri değişkenine bakıldığında ise 36-70 aylık çocukların görsel-motor koordinasyon beceri puanları ile motor koordinasyon beceri puanlarının baba gelir gruplarına göre anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaştığı, görsel algı beceri puanlarının ise baba gelir durumuna göre farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür. ● Araştırma bulgularına göre çocukların görsel-motor koordinasyon ve motor koordinasyon beceri puanları kardeş sayılarına göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmamıştır. Ancak çocukların görsel algı puanlarına bakıldığında 1 kardeşi olan çocuklarla 2 ve daha fazla kardeşi olan çocuklar arasında anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir.
This research aimed to adapt Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual Motor Integration Test-6 to Turkish and examine the visual motor integration of 36 to 70-months-old children in terms of a number of variables. It was conducted on 387 children attending state and private preschools and nursery classes in Nevşehir and Avanos, and the subjects were chosen through random cluster sampling method. In this research, 'General Information Form' was used to obtain personal information about the subjects, and Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual Motor Integration Test-6 with its two supplemental tests Visual Perception and Motor Coordination were used to examine the visual motor integration of the subjects. In the analysis of the data acquired from the tests, 't-test' and 'F-Test' were used. The findings obtained from this research were summarized below: ● Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual Motor Integration Test-6 with its two supplemental tests Visual Perception and Motor Coordination are valid for 36 to 70-months-old children. ● Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual Motor Integration Test-6 with its two supplemental tests Visual Perception and Motor Coordination are reliable for 36 to 70-months-old children. ● It was observed that visual motor integration, visual perception and motor coordination scores of the subjects differentiated with regard to the age. ● It was determined that visual motor integration, visual perception and motor coordination scores of 36 to 70-months-old subjects did not differentiate with regard to the sex. ● Examining the visual motor integration, visual perception and motor coordination scores of 36 to 70-months-old subjects with regard to the education level of parents, it was found out that those scores from all three tests were not influenced by the education level of parents. ● Examining the visual motor integration, visual perception and motor coordination scores of 36 to 70-months-old subjects with regard to mother's income status, visual motor integration skills scores differentiated. However, visual perception and motor coordination scores did not differentiate with regard to mother's income status. ● Upon viewing father's income status, motor coordination skills and visual motor integration skills scores of 36 to 70-months-old subjects considerably differentiated; but visual perception skills scores did not differentiate with regard to father's income status. ● According to research findings, visual motor integration skills and motor coordination skills scores of the subjects did not differentiate with regard to number of siblings, but the scores of visual perception between children with one sibling and children with two or more siblings considerably differentiated.
