| dc.description.abstract | Modern birey, Batı düşüncesinin ürettiği bir kavram olarak ortaya çıktığı gibi, aynı zamanda, modernitenin kurucu ögesidir. İletişim teknolojilerinin gelişimi ile modern bireyin ortaya çıkışı arasında ise tarihi bir bağlantı bulunmaktadır. Bununla birlikte, 19. yüzyılda yaşanan gelişmeler, bireyin varlığını yeni bir düzleme taşımakla beraber birçok iletişim teknolojisinin de doğuşuna tanıklık etmiştir. Günümüzde ise, iletişim teknolojilerinin vardığı nokta, bireyin kendisini var etme çabalarına eleştirel bir bakışı zorunlu kılmaktadır. Birey, modernite ve iletişim teknolojilerinin gelişiminin tarihi sürecini irdeleyen literal bir inceleme olan çalışmamız, modern bireyin mevcut iletişim teknolojileri sayesinde bir gerçeklik ve anlam kaybı yaşadığını vurgulamaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Modern individual, as it emerges as a concept produced by the Western thought, also, is the founder element of modernity. There is a historical connection between the development of communication technologies and the emergence of the modern individual. In addition to this, the developments in the 19th century have carried the existence of individual to a new level and witnessed the birth of many communication technologies. Today, the point where communication technologies arrive, requires a critical overview to efforts of individual to be exist. As a literal analysis of historical process of individual, modernity and development of communications technologies, our study emphasizes that, today, modern individual experiences the loss of sense and reality through the recent communication technologies. | en_US |
