Abstract
Önecelikle Kur'an dili ve Kur'an'daki mecazi dil hakkında bilgi verildi. Sonra mecaz kavramının kavramsal ve tarihsel çerçevesi üzerinde duruldu. Ardından İzz b. Abdusselamın hayatı ve ilmi düşünceleri belirlenmeye çalışıldı. en son olarak da İzz B. Abdusselam'ın eserindeki konular belağat ilmi açısından değerlendirildi ve sonuç bölümünde mecaz ve eserle ilgili bir değerlendirmede bulunuldu.
İn the introduction generally it is examined the language structure of Koran and its metaphorical language.İn the first chapter, firstly, it has been tried to determine conceptual framework of metaphoric concept. İn the second section it has been emphasized İz b. Abdusselam's scientific and commentator identity which has generally been neglected. İi the third section it has been examined the subjects in the his work. İn conlusion, a general evalution about the metaphor and the work has been staded.
